star of the desert arena

We just enjoy the friendly Staff and have a lot of Fun without all the pushing and crowds -enough slots to keep us busy and we have our favorite slots -only problem was payouts slow

The arena is located at Buffalo Bills Hotel & Casino in Primm, NV (at the state line between Nevada and California off the I-15 Interstate Highway).My fiancée and I went down from Las Vegas to see the O'Jays in concert. The stage was closer than in the past, when we went to the concert for Kenny Rogers. They had moved the stage a full floor section closer (smaller venue). This gave us a better view of the concert from the "entry raised seating area".For Kenny Rogers, we had the last row of floor seats and it was about twice as far to see him on stage. Not worth the tickets price at that distance and the entry raised section was behind us.They should keep the stage at the location they had for the O'Jays concert. Smaller is better for everyone to see the show.The sound system is good but, the stage lighting is your basic small stage lighting (nothing to write home about). The staff in the arena were very nice and they do have bar service available in concession areas.During the O'Jays performance the crowd started to stand up. This blocked our entire view, from our seats in the first row of the upper section, where we were seated. The security staff were not helpful with getting the people in front of us to sit down. At first they did and then security walked away and ignored the situation. People were constantly walking back and forth in front of us during the concert. I don't recommend seats in the first row of the upper sections. The main walkway is in front of you and there is constant moment of people during the concert. Most annoying were those that came in 15 min. after the concert started. The concert started on time and we had people walking past us during the entire concert.Recommendation: Get seats on the Floor Level or First Raised Section, nearest to the stage.Problem Area: People standing up during the concert. If you have Floor Seats, your view is completely blocked.

I've see so many great musicians here! Aretha Franklin, Patty LaBelle, Frankie Valli, Loggins & Messina, Donna Summer, The Pretenders, America, Boz Scaggs!! Nothing fancy, but an easy drive down from Vegas, reasonable drink prices & great local bands playing before/after concert!

Located inside Buffalo Bills Casino in Primm, NV. We have been to a variety of shows at this venue, and they do a pretty good job. Crowd is on the smaller side. They host older entertainers usually. We saw some excellent concerts from Dennis Deyoung from Styx and Kenny Rogers. Also have seen some good MMA style fighting and monster trucks.Great views from every angle due to the small size, and reasonably priced refreshments including full bars usually.

There is NOTHING in Jean. Primm is a few miles farther from Las Vegas and on the Nevada/California border. It is an XLNT venue for what it is. Great sound and more than adequate lighting. Seating is plastic stackable chairs. Bar service is a short walk as is restrooms. They feature country and older acts. We have seen the following; Reba, twice, great show. Frankie Valli, great show. Gladys Knight, great show. Englebert, great show. Liza Minelli, good show where she was trying out new material. Neal Sedaka, good show for a well-worn pro, as was the show from Paul Anka. Beach Boys was a drag because after the opening number, they encourage the audience to stand. Since standing was not our desire, we spent the next hour LISTENING to the Beach Boys and watching a row of 60 year old wiggling and shaking tushes at much too close range. We gave that show a walking ovation.

if your on a bus trip and the trip is lucky to get good tickets and you have great seats to see the concert then everything is is wonderful. all seat are good but if you get the floor seats and nobody stands up then it is one of the best experiences you will have depending on who it is you are there to see

I saw Maze featuring Frankie Beverly in April and they still have it. We had a wonderful time. Go Frankie you are still the man Boo.

I saw Gerald Albright in concert. The venue was comfortable and the sound system was good. I had a fun time.
