I attended a wedding there and the location was beautiful The chapel was charming and the hall was large and functional. Maybe not the prettiest building in the world, but cleaned up nicely.

Especially in Nebr. Bluffs, many trees, great place for weddings or receptions, or just to visit to get away.

We had reserved the cabin well ahead of time, but were running late. We expected a ‘primitive cabin’, but were not prepared for the dark, musty, garage-with-beds that we found when we arrived. Had it not been 10 o’clock at night, and had we not had a sick child with us, we would have turned right around and left. There was a note indicating our cabin (the camp ‘office’ closes at 5:00 p.m. and does not open til 9 a.m.), but since there was no outside lighting other than a distant street light, we did not find the bathroom facility until the next morning. Our cabin was lit by one dirty light bulb and there were no other electrical outlets. Our grandkids (ages 8-15) immediately focused on the graffiti-covered walls. If they did not understand the words, there were plenty of anatomical diagrams to explain. And it got better…The next morning we found the bathrooms – due to the mildew on the walls and curtains, I would not let an animal use them. And when the girls looked inside the washing machines in the “laundry”, there were dead mice – and they had been dead a LONG time, by the looks. I have attached pics.We left a note on the door and were long gone by the time the office opened. It is obvious that they are trying to run on a limited budget, but how much does paint cost? How much does it cost to keep the place clean and change light bulbs?Over the last 50 years, I have used cabins, both in private and public facilities, in state and national parks, from Maine to Arizona and Oregon to Florida. This is by far the worst place I have ever seen.Do not stay here!

When you drive into Broken Arrow the corn fields turn into a grove of ancient oak trees. The sunlight filters through the trees across the hills to give you a beautiful view. If you like to camp, they have full hook-ups, you can pitch a tent, or enjoy a cabin. They have several cabins to meet your needs. We always stay in the 5 bed big cabin. Some of the smaller cabins have been remodeled and are very nice. The big cabin hasn't been remodeled, but serves it's purpose of a hot shower, and warm beds for your whole family or your group of friends. There are fire pits next to each cabin for roasting hot dogs and marshmellows. The fun really begins when you get into your large metal tank. You take your own lawn chairs, cooler, food, radio, and towels down to the Cedar Creek. Once you're loaded and ready, you shove off into the creek for a 4-5 hour cruise down the river. The sandy bottom which is rarely more than a foot deep, is great for the kids to get out and play ball, catch frogs, swim, and climb on the trees that are sunk into the river itself. We always stop along the way for a lunch of sandwiches, chips, and cookies. Your car will be waiting you at the end of the float. You load your gear and drive the 1/2 mile back to your cabin for a hot shower. If you like to hike, there are several hiking and Jeep trails through the area. If you walk up to the top of the ridge the overlook to the creek is spectacular. If you walk along the creek itself you might get to see a few wild turkey (we saw 4). My grandsons got a kick out of all the different animal prints. We saw raccoon, deer, and turkey prints. This was my third year of tanking with Broken Arrow and I'm sure we'll go again. Everyone there is wonderful. It's not a place for those that want to be pampered, but for a great weekend of wholesome fun this is the best place to go. It's not expensive and it's definitely different from anything you've done before. I've been with my girlfriends and with my family and everyone always enjoys themselves.
