I've been to many small museums in communities and this is a fine example. Sometimes the exhibit will interest you a great deal and sometimes not so much. The building itself is fascinating, it is a historic railroad station. The cracks in the planks in the floor are filled in with rope. Plan to go when the farmer's market in the same parking lot is open on Saturday morning, or catch the shuttle up to Tao House -- the Eugene o'Neill home. That will make for an interesting day out.
Located in downtown Danville and housed in a lovingly restored 1891 railroad depot. For locals and visitors. Changing exhibits highlight local history from Indian tribes to ranchers. Also serves as the Town's Visitor and Information Center.
