Of course, skydiving is an amazing experience. The front desk staff here are a little cool and standoffish and not so helpful. The wait is very long and there is no rhyme or reason to what's happening - you can expect to wait between 30 minutes to several hours. Also no one is monitoring the landing strip, so I witnessed several near-collisions from people who were trying to land and folks walking out to the plane to catch the next flight. Not so great if that ever happens to some poor fool.

I am an international student and I will be going back home soon. Before leaving the United States I wanted to have an exceptional experience. And yes, it was an awesome experience! The staff and especially my instructor were so nice and helpful! Jumping out of an airplaine is the most crazy and amazying thing I've ever done. I would recommend it to everyone!

My husband and I decided to go skydiving on our vacation this year! He has been once before, but this was going to be my first experience skydiving! After a lot of research we decided to go with Skydive San Diego! I was really nervous but everybody was nice, fun and super cool! My instructor was Andrei and the person taking my video/photos was named Tigger! They were both so AWESOME! I decided to go with the deluxe photo/video package because I wanted to well document my first skydive! I can't thank them enough for making my first skydiving experience such a great one. The free fall was the coolest experience! The pictures turned out so great...I am still waiting for the video which will be coming in the next few weeks. If you at all want to skydive than DO IT!! You won't regret it! I highly recommend Skydive San Diego! Andrei and Tigger ROCKED! :)

it was my first time doing skydiving and the personnakl was vwery frienly and the my instructor had a lot excitment .

So I've been wanting to sky dive for some time now...when groupon presents a deal; two people-tandem jump for about $255. Thought this would be a perfect anniversary activity! Long story short; one of the most exhilarating activities I've ever participated in! The staff was personable and made the entire group feel comfortable! As soon as I landed I couldn't wait to jump again! See you next time; stay classy San Diego!!!

As a Skydive first-timer, I had the best time of my life and was extremely comfortable throughout the entire experience. I purchased with a Groupon and then upgraded to 13,000 feet. All of the staff were very nice and upbeat. My instructor Mikey was very professional and made me feel so relaxed and I wasn't scared at all. After landing safely to the ground, I immediately wanted to repeat my experience over again. I HIGHLY recommend and would definitely go back! I am still excited about checking this off of my bucket list!

This place was amazing!! Shout outs to JT for making the experience calming and amazing!!Although I had to wait a while forThe weather to clear up and then for the pilot, who had been given the day off as a result of the rainstorm that passes earlier in the day, the jump was amazing. They gave you a brief training and the opportunity to put on a jumpsuit. The free fall was the longest 60 seconds of my life, but such a great view and landing was a breeze!!

Caveat: I've never skydived other than the jump I did here, so have nothing to compare it to. They were very flexible and allowed us to reschedule twice (the second time, saying "just come on out, we jump as long as it's light out"). Training was alarmingly basic, but as it turns out that's because it's really very simple. The jump itself was simply mind-blowing. Words can't do it justice. If you're thinking of doing it, do it.

I still can't believe that I did this! I went there in mid of December 2013 after finding an offer at Groupon. So I jumped from a height of 10,000 feet / 3,000 meters and it was incredible! Free fall for more than 50 seconds while just seeing mountains around you. Then for a couple of minutes you skydive back to the place you started. A clue: Don't look straight down when you skydive after the free fall, look horizontal to the area around, that reduces your headaches ;)

Amazing experience!!! I used the groupon for 2 people costing 255 dollars, jumping from 10000 ft only at 8am or 9am time slot. The experience was more than 5 stars. Everyone was cool especially the video personnel! The only time i got scared was when my jump master started loosing my straps after opening the parachute, i felt like i will fall down lol. I would have appreciated if he could have explain me about it before loosing it as my friend's jump master did. Overall i really liked it and will come here in future (possibly in january 2014)Thank you Skydive San Diego for amazing experience :) If i have the money i would come back for solo certification:DPros: fun fun fun, friendly instructorscons: too much paperwork, signing your life away lol, [waiting time for video is 3 weeks(4 star)].tip: if you are following your GPS, keep going further on Otay Lakes rd until you see it on left side. if you pass the lake then make a u-turn lol

Oh my gosh...JUST DO THIS at least once in your lifetime! I did the Tandem jump for my 50th birthday. SUCH a RUSH and I would do this again anytime! This outfit is professional, fun and safe! Beautiful views too as you are floating down. I went in early November and it was cool, clear and you could see the San Diego Bay, Across the Border into Mexico, all the way to the Desert and you are overlooking the Otay Lakes area! PRICELESS!!!

The skydiving with these guys was awesome. They were a good company, very professional and the whole process was very smooth. My instructor was Rory and special thanks to him for the first jump of my life. The reason for only 4/5 is the video. Its been more than 2 weeks now and I haven't received the video yet. I got a link to view my video but that is too small and i cant download it!! In the age of fast internet, they still rely on sending CD by snail mail!! We had a discount coupon on us for the skydive, however, couldnt find it for like 15 minutes. Yet they believed us and let us use the coupon even without seeing it.The instructor is confident and makes you comfortable (VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE FIRST SKYDIVE). The cameraman jumping with me was always taking pictures and making funny jokes getting my mind off the JUMP.They allowed one free print of a picture.Most importantly, the pictures were amazing, the video (with editing) is great and the JUMP WAS JUST THE BEST!!!

Well worth the visit and money during your stay in San Diego. Very friendly and professional operation in place where you feel in safe hands from beginning to end. Thank you very much for the incredible experience!
