This club is next to the theater of the same name - didn't know there were 2 different places actually. They do sell to capacity - there is an upstairs balcony area directly above the stage, and room downstairs as well. It is clean, decently priced, well run and efficiently managed, and I found tickets avail. online only two hours before showtime which helped immensely.Club holds probably about 300 people I believe - I saw Zeppelin Live - tribute to band of same name - the sound was superior and lighting excellent - they sounded far better than in other venues I've seen them in - the venue showed the band to best advantage which was a real plus. Nice part of a nice city - safe to walk around in, and parking lots right there as well. The staff were very genteel - only one lady was rude after the band was finished and I was visiting with a couple members who are friends, and she was flipping out about how late it was (it was NOT late!) and there were only a few of us there while the group was packing its equipment - certainly we were not a hinderance and there are venues, such as Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz, that NEVER talks to people like that!! Still - all in all it was a truly enjoyable experience and delightful club - and it sure beats driving up to SF or Oakland to see a group play!! I will be back again and again and hope they are slightly more hospitable to the bands' guests - tho' as mentioned it was only one individual - the rest of the staff were completely accomodating of our every need! A++++
