It's a GREAT intimate, VERY comfortable atmosphere! We have seen different favorite entertainers close up and personal because of the Luxury of the Fox Theatre. It sure beats driving into LA for a Cattle Call and seeing your favorite performer with binoculars. My husband and I who rarely go to a concert (because of the inconvenience of driving to LA) have been to three concerts this year at the Fox. We will continue to support this venue. The parking is in one parking structure and very convenient to walk to (not miles like LA).
This was our first visit to the theater. It is a nice venue. Not too big. The seats were comfy and cup holders were provided. The drinks were rather pricey-$18 for a beer and a coke. But the parking was only $5. I guess it balanced out. There was only one exit from the parking lot so it took a few minutes to get out. Overall it was a nice experience. We would go back.
We have attended many performance at the Fox and have enjoyed the experience. It's not a huge theater and yet not overly small, but give one that hometown feel about it. It has easy of parking and the surrounding area has a lot to offer by means of dining. Short walk from the renowned Mission Inn.
This theater was completely renovated by the city of Riverside, and it was an amazing transformation. We recently saw a show there and the interior was magnificient and the seats we very comfortable. The only down side was the price they are charging for drinks, really, really outrageous, and they are not even a real bar. That would be my only complaint about this experience was the over priced drinks!, you really missed that mark.
Great venue. Had a awesome time and parking was near and plenty. Will go back here again when I get another chance.
Had an awesome time with friends. Theatre is very old, well maintained, and clean. Staff and bar service were exceptional. Concert was better than expected and reasonably priced. It is within walking distance of multiple restaurants and the Mission Inn. We spent the night at the Mission Inn and had an awesome time.
The Fox has been a part of my life for nearly 60 years. To be able to go back now after the remodel, and feel as if nothing has changed is amazing. The new management is bringing the type of acts that my family want to see.
This place is cool. Often the has huge names appearing there. Nice location. Easy access. Great venue
We had 4 comp tickets for the CCR concert and they did not disappoint! All the seats are good and the place is so beautiful to look at.We will , when we can go again. I'm not a big crowd person so the theatre is just right for me.
I love this venue as it is clean, small and easily accessed. I hadnt purchased tix on-site before; however, I will make it a habit becasue the selection is much better and I didnt have to pay any service charge. The represenative at the tix window was very helpful and professional.
Saw Amos Lee on 8/8/14. A beautiful phenomenal place for concerts. Acoustics not bad. Small enough so that every seat is a good seat though the rows are a bit tight. No one can pass without you standing to let them by. One annoying issue I found was there is no food to speak off if you come hungry. They offer a wrap that's pre-made offsite somewhere, and assorted chips and candy. I suggest you make it a full night and eat at one of the local restaurants prior to arriving at the venue. But... if you like to drink there are bars galore in the lobby. Unfortunately, that means that those drinkers will be leaving their seats mid-performance for a refill and that may detract from your enjoyment of the concert. If you can ignore the lushes in the audience then you will love this place. Another annoying issue was a kiosk in the lobby that tries to suck you in to sign up for a vacation timeshare. This has no place there and was as annoying and in your face as spam. They also don't hear you when you say "Not interested". Just walk away and they'll move on to the next "victim". All in all, as a concert venue, it's pretty sweet. I certainly will return.
Went here for a concert with Don Mclean and Judy Collins and was not disappointed. They tried to upgrade us to "VIP" seats closer to the stage at a cost greater than our tickets further back in center orchestra. Not needed, as the theater isn't that big. Easy to get free parking after five on the street or in a nearby garage.
We attended an event at the Fox that spanned two days. It's a really nice older theater with a great location right on the corner.
Sat in the 2nd row of the Messanine. Very good seats. Attractive theater and good acoustics. Great place to see a concert.
The Fox theater was restored to it's former glory with Historical accuracy with hand-painted beams and tiles to match the existing. The seats were comfortable and they were smart to put air conditioning in the floor so you feel it.
