yosemite falls

瀑布本身固然很壮观，但是最吸引我的是在瀑布上面一处可以游泳的区域，因为水是流动的，非常干净清澈和冰凉，夏天去爬山是一定要下水去消消暑的啦！

不明白老美为什么最喜欢来这里玩也许不是因为有最好的景观我们一路从黄石等国家公园过来，对yosemite已经审美疲劳了现在是秋天，据说春天雪水消融的时候最好，瀑布也大下次再来吧

分为上下两条瀑布，落差非常大，所以景观很好。从shuttle站走到瀑布脚下来回只有半小时，当然瀑布也可以登顶，这就需要3-4小时了

类似中国的三叠泉，但壮观多了。整个瀑布分为上，中，下三部分。下优山美地瀑布从便道走5分钟就可以近距离感受到。上优山美地瀑布要爬4个小时才能上去，属于徒步登山爱好者的乐园。我们就在下优山美地瀑布看了看，这个季节水量很大，非常壮观。

I like having two paved walkways to the base of Yosemite Falls.This will help especially during the summer months.

we arrangeed the yosemite day trip from our hotel we were picked up very early, taken to another meeting point were we joined a coach to yosemite, the coach was not full so we had a table of 4 seats to ourselfs.the journey is long however the coach stops on route. on arrival you are given time to look around , this place is so beautiful, you can lodge over night if you want, the scenary are amazing, worth the long treck up there

Easy to get to and what a sight! Hike the easy loop around for a variety of views of the falls. Better to go early in summer as it sometimes dries up later.

Go early in the morning (around 9 am) to see the serious photographers and what they are "shooting". The falls were running in March 2015, amazing the drought had not dried them yet.

We were so thankful to be there after a good season of snow and hence the waterfall was incredibly breathtaking! If you're up for it, take the trail up to the upper falls for a better view!

This waterfall is monumental for so many reasons. Next to Half Dome, this is a sight that is easily recognizable for most in Yosemite. Although it can sometimes get crowded, the sound of the rushing water flushes out most of the crowd noise. The trail to get there is paved with a wooden walkway and the FREE Hybrid Shuttle Bus will drop you off right at the trailhead. How much easier can they make it! Although, being at the base of the falls only allows you to see the bottom half, you can stop off at Sentinal Bridge (Stop 11) and you will see a spectacular view of Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls!

Of all of the waterfalls in the park this is the one you must see. The lower falls are a reasonably easy walk and very powerful in the right season. You can see the waterfall from many spots in the park, and it's a great focal point for amazing photos.

The hike to upper falls wasn't the easiest but totally doable and rewarding. Bring snacks and lots of water, even in the winter the sun can be a bit strong the closer to the top you get.

Great hike with some good outcrops for pictures. Get a totally different view of the valley as it disappears. The Falls are beautiful all times of the year. DO NOT STAND IN THE CREEK TO GET PHOTOS people fall off this thing! Don become a statistic. Its DUMB.

Go early in the day, pack a lunch and be ready to hike to the waterfalls. We went in January and it was perfect weather. I suggest getting a national park pass which is good for the entire year. We went 2 days in a row and I would say I could go back and spend weeks. I have great pictures to remember this park by, but would go back in a heartbeat. We were there when the guys were climbing El Capitains face and people were so friendly just hanging out there to watch them. My son is a Geology major and took notes etc for a paper. The Big hotel that is there, was really cool to visit. I didnt know that is was the hotel used in the movie the shining (the interior was) until we went there. We did not stay the night at the hotel, but would love to some day. Yosemite National Park should be on everyone's bucket list.
