A shorter course in an excellent setting within Tilden Park. The driving range, putting green and clubhouse are all adequate, the course presents interesting holes and views of the valley. The condition of the course is usually at best, average given the number of rounds. Expect to have a very slow round and have ample opportunity to enjoy the day out.

A very nice public golf facility with terrific views of the Bay. Not long. they have a practice range as well. What makes up for the distance is the contour. The course is set in the hills. You seem to never have a flat lie except on the tee box.

Yeah, really - might be possible depending on where you are on the course when you holler "FORE!" This golf course is a deceptive beauty that will eat your lunch and ask for seconds. Nestled in a high valley in Tilden Regional Park the vistas on this course are almost as distracting as the ones getting to it! Maybe I'm over-doing it a little, but if there were such a thing as 'destination golfing' this is a course you'd add to your list. Uphill, downhill, around hill, trees, streams, water... this course has a little bit of everything and refreshingly requires players of all skill levels to make and enjoy making their shots. A truly memorable course and golfing experience. Book an early tee time and bring your sunscreen and digital camera - you'll need and use both. Enjoy!

This is a great course for the price. Very pretty setting & interesting holes. Just like any muni though, it can be slow on weekends.

This beautiful golf course is just minutes away from CAL/Berkeley. It is nestled among Pine trees and Euclopus (sp) trees. The air is crisp and has the aroma of a forest! Lunch at the grill was delicious. Pro shop friendly. Rates were nice and affordable!

I played last weekend and took 6 hours to play the course. The course itself was fine but not one marshall was to be found even when I called the pro shop to complaint about the pace of play. On top of that the breakfast I ordered at the snack bar was absolutely horrible. How can you screw up a breakfast burrito I asked? Well I guess you can. The course does have some beautiful holes and it is a challenge but honestly who wants to play a 6 hour round?

I have played here several times and its always a gem. Tricky course with some lovely views. Very pretty even if your golf is not too good.

Hilly Course and lots of fog during the late falll season, however if you are looking for a challenge, Tilden is a must do course.

The entire park is worth a visit. Just be carefull of the drive there if you have someone in the car who has a problem with curvey roads.

Beautiful trees line the lush, green, fairways. The clubhouse and bar area are elevated and overlook the course and minus a few wet spots on the course this is a great place to play a round. Weather is almost always perfect and they have a good chip and putt area and happy hour specials at the bar as well. Have only played a handfull of courses in the bay but this is the prettiest.

good public course. easy to get a good score . very scenic . and great value for money. the only issue was that golf etiquette was noted to be completely lacking with player wearing collarless t shirts and sandals and still being allowed to play !!!

A lot of uphill, good driving range, makes you really test your skills. Recommended for good to better golfers. Beautiful surroundings. Good parking and service.
