This is a great way to spend an afternoon in Sacramento. It's fun and inexpensive. The park is well kept with plenty of play equipment and animals to see/pet.

still around and still just as fun. Now taking my kids to same spot I loved as a kid. Lots of slides, paths to follow and just plain fun!

I remember my mom bring me and my siblings here to play 25 years ago and it was pretty shady back then. They have put so much energy into cleaning this place up and even the park area outside fairytale town. Even when it was just a funky play place back in the 80's, it was magical for me as a kid. I love bringing my own kids here now. I love that they have added some animals and a whole picnic area. It's a great place to just let kids run around and pretend they're in a storybook.

I took my 2 year old daughter and 7 year old son. It was real fun. we must have walked the Crooked-Mile a hundred times. Admission is a reasonable price and I feel good paying it because it is good old fashion play time. Refreshingly low-tech. The rivers were not running the day we played, but we were there when they were preparing for Halloween. The theme for Halloween was Percy Jackson. I wished we could have returned fort that!!!When I go back I will take a lunch and picnic. Spend a good half day there. Williamland Park has many things to do and this is a must stop. Overall, this is great place! I can't wait to go back and spend more time just playing.

This is a great place to take toddlers and pre-school aged kids. Designed for their age, the park has many attractions to climb on, slide down, walk through and discover at their scale. Bring a lunch and eat at the park. We've been at least twice with all of our then pre-school children. The absolutely love it. Favorite part is the old lady's shoe slide! Even the parents like it (warning, it goes fast but it's super fun even for really little ones!!!)

A wonderful place to take kids, 2-12, for a morning or afternoon in Sacramento. Lots to see, geared to the younger kids, and perfectly safe for a family to visit, hang out, eat a picnic, and enjoy the climate. Spring is the best time of year for this experience; it gets HOT in the summer.

Sacramento children have been enjoying Fairytale Town in William Land Park for generations. I have run the crooked mile as have my Children and Grand Children. Several years ago we had a family reunion picnic in the park. After we ate before the games started four generations decided everything else could wait until all four generations toured Fairytale Town to see it again.

We made a stop off here on a road trip and were pleasantly surprised. We found this place online, and you never know what to expect when you actually get there. We have a 16 month old and he LOVED every second of this park. It's perfect for toddlers (i cant attest to older kids, but we were with a 7 year old and she had lots of fun as well!). Parking worked out much better than we thought - there was free parking within easy walking distance. We would return here (and probably get a membership) if we lived closer! Overall excellent play area and would highly recommend!

We went for the lights and the Santa meet and greet. The kids ran and played for hours. I would say 10 years old on down. It's a bit of a bore for older kids but parents will enjoy the experience with 2-9 year olds tremendously.

My daughter is 7 and still loves coming here, what's not to love about this place, cheap admission, farm animals the kids can pat and get close to, lots of swings and slides and other kids stuff they can play on.There's theaters, face painting and storytime days. Across the road in summer outside this park, there;s usually pony riding and Funderland and the Zoo are also close by but if you have toddlers and any kids under 10, this is a great non stressful place to take them.

Lovely setting with plenty to see and do for younger children. Lots of close by parking. Not far from the wonderful Tower Cafe for lunch or brunch.

Perfect for Kids with tons of attractions. Best to be combined with a Zoo visit which is just across the street. They also offer a combi ticket. Be ware that the restaurant/cafe closes at 3pm so if you plan to snack there, do it before that time. Even that they close at 4pm you can stay in the park up until 5pm. Our daughter loved it. We can recommend.

Fairytale Town in Sacramento is a must visit while in Sacramento for those with young children. The park is spaced well and provides multiple areas for kids to play and live in a fairy tale for a couple of hours.

Fantastic place to spend an afternoon with toddlers to pre-teens. Lots of shade! and Seats! for the adults while the kids play on themed slides, walks and equipment. Don't miss Sherwood Forest for the 4-10 set. Wooden fort, swinging bridge, etc.

We decided to take my 14th month old to Fairytale Town based on other reviews. We got there right after it opened and spent about 2 hours there before my daughter needed a nap. That was enough time to see and/or play on each exhibit. The giant shoe slide was my daughter's favorite, and she also liked seeing the animals. We didn't eat there or see any of the shows because they were scheduled for later in the afternoon. There are a lot of good photo opportunities and for only $4 a person, it was totally worth it. It is also in a good location near the zoo and a nice park. Parking was free and easy, but we went on a Tuesday morning so it might be more difficult on a weekend. They had a cool camelot themed room for birthday parties. I would throw a kid's party there if I lived in the area. We will definately go back if we are in the area again.
