Taking part in Diva Half Marathon series Temecula had its perks. Our group of runners (5 ladies) had the pleasure of popping into Ponte for a tasting. Greeted by gorgeous grounds, friendly staff and a fun atmosphere we were happily surprised when the tastings were 6 for $20. A variety of wines are provided on a paper and verbally by a knowledgeable employee. Up selling us was easy with the fun atmosphere. Its more than just the wine... The tasting room is filled with fun things to buy along with delicious snacks! The Honey, the olives, the licorice, and the biscuits are only a few to get your mouth watering. A definite need to stop and have a taster type of place. Make sure to ask about the wine shipments option!

We had our wedding here in January of this year, so just about a month and half ago now. It was such a wonderful wedding, and it was a fantastic venue to get married at. I have people come up to me a lot saying how much they enjoyed the wedding and the venue and how well it turned out. I'll start with the location. The winery is stunning, the Inn on the property is top notch. we were able to have many family members stay at the hotel with us, and some people opted to stay at the nearby hotels. When you go to places like this, you expect top notch service, and they definitely didn't disappoint. We got married in the Vineyard Garden and our reception was in the Vineyard Pavilion. One of the things that I was a little concerned about was since it was January, it would look more barren. I like the rustic look, but I wondered what the guests would think. Turns out, Ponte is so beautifully landscaped that it was beautiful anyway. It helped that with all the recent rains (and snows!) in the desert, that the scenery was stunningly green even though the vines were not blooming. The Vineyard Pavilion is a room with tons of windows, and a gorgeous quality. I didn't need to do as much for the tables because I was able to draw on the beauty of the surroundings (I ended up having lanterns and votive candles surrounded by flower petals - simple but it worked!).The staff is excellent. The event staff is amazing, and our coordinator, Marissa was fantastic. She helped us at every turn, answered every email or phone call promptly and was truly a great help. We chose this venue for the price, the location, and the venue, but also because it was all-inclusive. Everything was taken care of, all we had to do was pick out colors and the food, and they took care of everything. There is plenty to do before a wedding, but I didn't have to worry about hiring caterers, bartenders, whether there would be enough food, all that stuff. My wedding theme was "rustic elegance" and I think it worked beautifully. If you want to come here for a weekend, to get away, to tour the vineyard or even have a wedding, I couldn't recommend Ponte any more highly.

My favorite winery in Temecula. They had a 50% active duty military discount for the service member plus another person. So, our party of four got half off of our tastings. The gift shop is adorable. To get the full experience, go out to the patio after the tasting. Order a bottle of your favorite with a cheese plate and charcuterie to share. The vineyard is gorgeous in the summertime! So gorgeous, that there was a wedding going on with fields of grapes as far as the eye can see across a backdrop of mountains.

This was our 1st wine tasting and it was one of the highlights of our trip to California !! There were 8 of us, beautiful sunny day, which just made the experience perfect ! We sampled several wines while enjoying the beautiful courtyards that are surrounded by the vineyard ! This is truly something every wine drinker should try. After the tasting, we ate dinner in their on site restaurant. We were very lucky, as we were seated in the private wine room. For a group of our size, it was perfect ! The waitress was exceptional and we all had a great time !

8 of us spent Valentines day tasting and lunch at the point. The grounds are amazing the staff warm and friendly. The wines are very good and the food was awesome. Good place to stop, taste, and watch the crowd. This is a large winery and it filled quickly. $20.00 6 tastings. Gifts, restaurant, and nice atmosphere. We took along our bright energetic two year old grandson, he had a ball and the staff were very kind and patient with him.

$15 6 wine tastings. we tried most of the red wines. Not as good as Sonoma but a nice old fashioned place to visit

This is one of our best wineries. Family owned and operated. Great restaurant, great wines, great service and best of all, great location.

We went into the tasting room while we were waiting for the restaurant to open. I only like sparkling wines so I asked if I could get a glass. They said that they could only do a tasting that it would be cheaper to get a glass in the restaurant. I went ahead and got the tasting. They made me a special "necklace" for my birthday and because I like sparkling, they had me taste all of them and then gave me a glass of my favorite. And I got to keep the glass.

The venue is one of the best in Temecula. The wines are excellent. The prices are great ...especially happy hour. The only problem is they are every understaffed. Our server was really sweet but very frazzled because of having too many tables. It took 35 minutes to get a glass wine and had to go through another server. If the owner realized that hiring an extra server would have boosted the wine sales, (I would have tried 1-2 more glasses over the course of the two hours we were there- which would have more than taken care if the measly hourly wage a server makes). There were several tables there that were going to the bar to get their drinks. Other than that- I would recommend the arancini.

This was a Grand Central Station of a winery. It was so busy with people in so many different venues --- restaurants, hotel, tastings, private tastings, etc. In spite of that the wine was good. We liked the Viognier, Moscato, Malbec and others. We enjoyed the server and the company we met at the bar.

So as I have stated in other reviews, we are big fans of Napa Cabernet's and Zinfandel's. So Temecula is not the easiest place for us to taste and enjoy the wine.As far as wine goes, we did not find anything here that we really liked.They have some really cool merchandise, which is one of the great parts of wine tasting, but they are way overpriced. For example we had a cheese plate somewhere and they put some honeycomb with honey on the plate. We have always thought that was great and we have been looking to buy some. They had some here at Ponte it was $25.00. We found the same stuff same size the next day at toms marketplace for $16. Thats a serious markup.

Please do not miss visiting this Estate. It is not just a winery but a destination where your senses will be filled with joy. My girlfriend I decided to stop and have lunch outside on a Monday afternoon. It was a cool and quiet afternoon and the gardens were beautiful. We even saw rabbits as we waited for our food. I ordered the Free Range Capon Melt and my friend ordered the Meatloaf sandwich. Not only was the food delicious but we had plenty left over for lunch the next day. The wait staff were top notch, attentive and helpful with all our requests. I would not only recommend this estate for lunch but all weddings, parties and corporate events. It is just beautiful.

My daughter had her wedding & reception here. The staff was amazing. They had everything handled and guided us through the process with friendliness and professionalism. From the moment we booked the date to the last guest to leave, they were there for us. Thanks!

Tasted pinot grisio, chardonnay 2013, cabaret sauvignon 2009, sparkling red wine imported from Italy, another sweet wine, and another less full bodied red wine. 15 bucks for 6 tastings!!
