In the summer, there is swimming in Lake Sammamish with a life guard at times. Ducks and geese can be seen on the shoreline. There are plenty of wild rabbits in the bushes to chase, if you wish. A well kept part with places for a pick nick.

This place is really nice to spend some leisure time, for a picnic especially in the evenings to watch the beautiful Lake Sammamish from Redmond side. One can go for kayaking. Children can play and there are many picnic tables too.The scenic beauty of the Lake really amazing. I can say its well maintained.

Great summer destination, with or without the kids. Great beach, volleyball, BBQs, picnic tables.....

Near to the Redmond neighborhood and greenery. Have a good view the Lake Sammamish. Especially like it when the sun was setting.

It is a place where people of all age-groups can find something to entertain them. If nothing else, then one can just enjoy the peace in the greenery around. You can do fishing, have bar-be-cue picnics, great play area for kids, ducks to play with, or else just sit on the bench and enjoy the view!

This is pack in full during sunny weekend but still I wouldn't mind taking kids. Park has something to offer for everybody from kids to adults. You've play area, little jog area, picnic area and swimming area with lifeguards. Parking is going to be a challenge on sunny weekends so plan ahead of time.

Great beach park otherwise. Has a swimmers area. One of only two public beaches on the lake! The Issaquah one has plenty of parking and is larger, but nothing beats Idylwood for proximity if you live on the north end

It is a very attractive park with beach access to Lake Sammamish. Interests of walking, swimming, boating and picnicing for families, teens, couples and individuals.

Compared with 5-6 years ago, the new redesigned park offers more options for different age categories. Waterfowls and geese are welcoming new and old visitors with much curiosity and noise. The little beach is a nice place to be in the summer days. Shelters are party and picnic friendly. A very nice place in the middle of the city.

Very beautiful and peaceful park, when the sun was out, and temperatures went around the 70's this was our favorite place to hang out at. Very well kept.

Beautiful and well kept. A nice beach area (for a lake), with life guards and roped off swim areas for various swim levels.

Great neighborhood beach with a good playground too. My daughter loved this little beach and had a ton of fun swimming then spending some time in the playground. Parking here can be an issue as we had to use the overflow lot a few blocks away.

Really great beach/ park for kids of all age. Or just for adults to BBQ and have fun with buddies. Have had many a picnics and play dates for kids in this park

Great beach, with play equipment, bathrooms, lifeguards and concessions in season. Can get extremely crowded on that rare hot day!

I did not go swimming because it was a little chilly, but other people were enjoying the water. There were boaters on the left side of the beach and swimmers on the right side.
