We just had dinner and stopped by the SC Winery but they were closed. The owner was still inside and let us in. She was cheerful and gracious in spite of the late hour and even gave us some free samples. We were disappointed that our favorite desert wine was not available do to lack of suitable grapes but this only shows the dedication to quality they put into their wine making. After several delicious tastes we bought a bottle of their seasonal special.Call some friends and head over here for a tasting, snacks are included. Plan on spending a little time and enjoying what they offer.

In preparation for moving to this area, I purchased a Groupon for a wine tasting here. We finally redeemed the Groupon (tasting and appetizers for 2) this weekend. The location itself was a but disappointing, as I didn't realize it was a storefront in a bit of a rundown area. Inside, however, was quaint and charming. Andrea (one of the owners) was very friendly and informative. They served delicious appetizers from a local restaurant, and really had some unique wines to taste. We felt very welcome and at home, and we reserved our spot at an upcoming murder mystery dinner they are hosting in October.
