Ok, so most people only see this as a park, but just offshore there is this amazing underwater park that is so much better than the one on land! those pilings are COVERED in white plumose anemones, the is a huge GPO hidden down there too! more starfish than I can count, from the size of my fingernail to 15 inches across. If you do not dive, this dive site is a reason to go get certified.

I have gone here for years. I have taken my children, friends and gone by myself. They have a new water park for the kids, which is fun! I have walked the trails and gone to many picnics there as well. I have taken my friends children to go and watch the ducks, throw rocks in the Sound and have watched the sun set while visiting. They have a new play area for the kids as well.

This local park is a great family spot in the summer and a wonderful place to get out and see the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest any time of year. If you want to see beach at low tide and check out the sea life it is a short walk from your car. Take the kids outside to play or put on your walking shoes and explore. Or bring the family for a game of softball or Frisbee. The pool was recently replaced by a spray park and there is ample space for the kids to run and play.

I have visited this park a number of times. It's good for all types of mobility as they have paved walkway along the beach. There are plenty of picnic areas. The beach is rocky so make sure to have water shoes in sunny weather. Beautiful views

Titlow located on Puget Sound just south of the Narrows Bridge. The park has a nice trail to walk and check out some nature. It has some tennis courts, baseball field, swimming pool and some open space for your own games. The best part of the park is that it is close to the railroad tracks so if you like trains you can enjoy a couple trains an hour. If you like scuba diving you can do that also and explore the sea life at the old Tacoma to Gig Harbor ferry landing.
