A lovely place to walk around - trees, pond, paths. When there's a special event going on, it can be fun; when it's just a pretty park, also fun. The Conservatory and the Karpeles Manuscript Museum are right there. Don't miss them.

A city park with undulations, several walking tracks, a Victorian Conservatory, pond, English Bowls Green, and water jets in the summer for the children to play in. Many old specimen trees.Delightful!

Wright Park is a great place for family and group functions.. Duck Pond, water "wet" "splash park" and lots of room for parties of all kinds. I like just walking through and taking in the scenery. Quiet and relaxing for the most part. Until Ethnic Fest where local entertainers offer Free music at concert levels.WOO HOO!

This is a cool park with a nice diversity of trees and plants from this region. Has nice fountains and paths to walk around or run. It is well maintained and is clean. At night the homeless and other human creatures come to spend the night so I don't recommend visiting this park after sunset.

This park is one I go to often, especially to take portraits. There are several back drops that I really like, such as a bridge, gazebo, conservatory, ponds, park benches and old fashioned looking light poles. It always seems peaceful here. There are couples walking or resting in the grass, families picnicking, and people out walking their dogs. The grounds are kept up; very green.

This is a nice nature area with a pond and a path to walk around. It does get crowded on nice weekends.

So we first parked near the Conservatory and we soon moved, as we were walking downwards towards the playground and water park, there was way too many homeless that for some reason kept staring at us to the point of making us uncomfortable, but the park is big enough and the sun shines for everyone so, I would recommend to park closer to the hospital or the main road, do not park on the back road or side st, I honestly dont think its all that safe, once we moved our car and parked on the main road 6ht ave, we walked down and it was marvelous!! There was a little pond, a bridge, the playground was full but not overwhelming, the kids were playing with water and everyone was just relaxing, very nice environment.

Walked there everyday just a little bit of nature in the midst of a busy city The features are many I liked all the festivials that are held on the weekends

The water park was in full swing with kids of all ages cooling off with the artistic water toys/structures. I was impressed at how involved the children were in figuring out just how to get the most wet using the variety of water sculptures. Very engaging! The remainder of the park was shady and green with plenty of space to relax on a hot July day. I enjoyed walking through the park looking at the trees and learning their names. (Each tree is labeled)

We missed the conservatory as we came on a Monday and they're closed. But we have a lovely stroll in the park itself, which has many, many tree species, most of which are labeled. I like to know what I'm looking at, so that was a nice touch. There is a fun water playground for hot days that kids are sure to enjoy, and a large pond with ducks. It's an easy downhill walk to downtown.

A pleasant park with a small lake, a botanical conservatory and nearby eats and drinks make this a great place on a nice day.

This is a very pretty park with a nice one-mile trail around the pond. Loved nice seeing all the beautiful flowers. It was close to my hotel so it was a nice place to go for a little exercise outdoors rather than running on a boring treadmill.

Thirty years ago, I was married in the Seymour Conservatory in Wright Park. My husband and I lived in a small apartment next to the park and it has always been dear to us. Over the years some changes and improvements have been made to trails and facilities, but the sense of peace and beauty that emanates from this garden spot in the old heart of Tacoma is still there . The walking trails are perfect for a stroll or serious cardio, depending on your level of effort, and local watering holes on every side let you sit and enjoy the view of trees and grassy verges all year long. A good place to take kids or your great aunt for a day out, or just take a book and read next to the duck pond. The Conservatory is a wonder of exotic plants and amazing seasonal displays and still a beautiful place for an intimate "happily-ever-after" wedding.

Unless you are running around the the out side jogging path I would stay away. Even though they have renovated the park they did not find a way to keep the bums and drug addicts out. Not a nice place for kids and avoid at dusk or dark

Wright Park - is a great park for Tacoma folks and visitors to the area. The playground is great, for all ages. We love the waterpark in the summer or you could just stroll thru the park. A true gem in Tacoma.
