I have not been to a live baseball game in many years and went because my friend wanted to go. Glad I did!! We had good seats right behind home field dug-out. They have good hotdogs and prices were not bad so we enjoyed the game, the food and my friend had some beers. They offer some deals like 1.00 hot dogs and Thursday, 99 cent beers, so check their web site before you get your tickets. I went to Yankee Stadium years ago and this place was just as good. Lots of entertainment from the side lines and easy access to all areas. I would recommend this for all ages as everyone enjoyed it that I could see. Great family outing, and the locals are there to support the teams, as I have moved here permanently, am considering buying a yearly pass so I can go to more games, really liked it!
In March we were here for spring training with my sons college team? Great minor league field. Would love to come back and see a game with the home team. Close to the action, great sight lines. Home of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Henry Ford College defeated Saux Valley on a gorgeous, warm, 70 degree sunny day. So much better than than the 20 degrees back home.
In February? We must be crazy. Great minor league yard. Home of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. UAlbany Great Danes defeated North Carolina State on a rainy cold day.
Minor league baseball is a lot of fun. More fun by the beach. Pelicans is good quality baseball and plenty of entertainment for families, including a dog that delivers baseballs to the umpire. Inexpensive, too!
There is not a bad seat in the house. Lots of fun activities between innings to watch on the field if you're not a baseball enthusiast. We go for the baseball but you could have a good time anyway. Top notch park with plenty of clean restrooms and Thirsty Thursdays, Weiner Wednesdays and awesome fireworks a lot of nights.
Easy access & parking, good views from all seats, fair prices on tickets & food. Enthusiastic crowd & players, home town fun.
regional baseball....get to see players before they go to pro teams...very nice, fun filled, family event....for a very good price
when you visit make sure you take in a Pelicans Baseball game.Lots of family fun at this ballpark..The Class A Advanced team of the Chicage Cubs and many from this team go on to the Major League teams....Fun filled game every inning they have activities for all....
Great people, great ballpark, coming from NY, prices are cheap, a great combination for a pleasant day out.
It might take a while to earn my family's trust back. They were bored beyond belief here. High beer and food costs. Greed is good.
WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Don't bother take the time and drive a couple hours to Charleston. James Island County park blows this place away. Boring my 3 yr old grandson was not impressed. 25.00 you can probably drive around your neighborhood and see better lights
We came one night of our trip for a baseball game. It was awesome....One of the highlights of our trip.
It was a great way to end a day of shopping and dinner at Broadway at the Beach. The lights were outstanding and the music was pumping. My family had a great time looking at the lights and making fun of the Christmas music. I have older teens and I'm not sure that I would travel 2hrs just to see the lights but if we were in the area anyway we would go back.
I went here with my family on a recent trip to Myrtle Beach. We were able to get discounted tickets by bringing in a canned food donation. It was a very relaxing and fun atmosphere. It is easy to get tired of the same old things in Myrtle Beach, so this is a fun change!
We've been here a few times. Nice minor league ballpark. Unfortunately got rained out this year, and we were not able to come back the next night to use our tickets....so we weren't offered a refund.
