My wife and I enjoyed our visit to Baker's Winery, particularly the friendliness of the hosts. The wines were mostly typical NC wines, most of which we are not huge fans of, but they did have a delicious Cabernet that is sure to be an award winner!

Owners are outstanding. Best winery we have visited. Plan on returning soon. Would highly recommend to people.

Of the wineries we visited (four in one day), this winery has probably the most traditional types of wine which are all really tasty. The owner is very knowledgeable and spent a lot of time talking with us about his process which was quite interesting.

My visit to Baker Buffalo Creek Vineyard was informative, fun and full of laughs. The Mr. & Mrs. that run the vineyard are great people that are living their lives to make something tasty and beautiful. You must taste the Mule House Red & The Milk House White!

We created our own wine trails with one west and one east of Charlotte, NC and this was truly one of the best and probably the only one with more traditional wines. They make Rieslings, Chards, Cabs, red blends while others are playing with sweet Scuppernongs and Muscadines. These are choice wines and well worth a tasting. However, they are also a little pricier. The tasting room was playful in an old milk house and the owners, the Edwards were so pleasant and fun that we enjoyed them as much if not more than the wine! They were also very informative about the history of the family and the property. We highly recommend Baker Buffalo Creek Winery as not to be missed when in the Charlotte area. Try to take some time to sit and enjoy the fire pit as well!
