misty creek vineyards

This was one of the wineries on our wine excursion day and although they do not have my favorite kinds of wines, what I tasted was OK, but my friend loved the wines. The tasting roomis big and airy and welcoming. If you are not into sweeter wines, this is the place for you.

I'm so glad that a friend took me to Misty Creek for a visit. I can't say enough about the owner & staff (& their propensity to nurture rescue dogs). Their wines are solid & good. The outdoor seating on the covered patio with outdoor fireplace is great. This venue also offers almost weekly events & live music. If you're visiting the Yadkin Valley wineries, please don't miss this one!

Nice winery and friendly staff. Beautiful art work and fun outdoor music entertainment, but the wines were so so.

Misty Creek Vineyard is a short drive off I-40 and well worth the trip. They have several wines to choose from but their Chardonnay is simply wonderful. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing. They have a huge indoor fireplace as well as a covered outdoor pavilion with another fire place. The owners make you feel very welcome and part of the family. Their events are fun and casual - including music and great food. They refer to the vineyard as A Hometown Winery and that describes them perfectly. They are one of the few wineries open late on Friday so it's a fun dinner date. My husband and I pick up a pizza to enjoy with our wine while we watch the sun set. We go to a lot of local vineyards in our area and really enjoy spending time at Misty Creek. We always keep the Chardonnay and Barrel House Blend in our wine rack and enjoy introducing friends and family to their wines.
