There's a lot of "something special" about this place. You can feel it in a rose-scented breeze, glimpse it in a dapple of tree-filtered sunlight, hear it in the gentle swing of a wooden screen door. Weymouth's home and grounds welcome visitors with genuine beauty and charm in every season of the year. Always awe-inspiring with its peaceful serenity, it's wonderful for wandering the gardens and wilds or perching pensively under a tree or near a fountain. Whether attending an organized event or planned program or exploring on your own, Weymouth will nourish your soul!
Beautiful grounds and gardens. Writers in residence as permanent program because former and only owner was highly regarded author. Weddings and other special occasions.
Do you want to go back in time and see how beautiful the homes were built? If so, you have to check out Weymouth. From the moment you see the outdoor landscape to the home you will wish that you were home. Spend an hour or two here when in town.
A beautiful setting for an event under 100 people. Great large room, lots of atmosphere. Beautifully maintained.
The home is kept in fantastic repair, and the gardens and grounds are lovely to walk through. I've been many times and have always enjoyed.
Attended an outdoors wedding here and the grounds were fantastic. The building it's self is very historic and restored perfectly. It's worth checking this place out while in town.
Weymouth Center is Great as well at the Arts Council of Moore County. Anything you attend that is part of either of these institutions will not dissappoint.
Great gardens and landscaping. this entire area is so well maintained and a wonderful place to relax and regroup.
This is place is absolutely gorgeous and incredible. It's a beautiful mansion built in 1920 and is now a writer's retreat as well as a place for performing arts to take place. It's nice to just have a walk around and enjoy the surroundings. I love that it's not that far away from downtown Southern Pines which is very sweet and lovely. I will definitely visit again!
Take a nice trip and relax, great surroundings. Peaceful, quiet, FREE.
