north shore beach

Made me forget I wasn't in Florida! The beach is super clean and in August, the water is warm enough to actually get in! Super fun for the whole family...sand castles, getting buried in the sand.

weather can't be helped but a sandstorm in the morning turned us away from the park, but we returned later after the rain & were able to walk out to the lighthouse & enjoy the sights of the many Kiteskaters out in the cold,rough water!
