satek winery

We have visited Satek Winery before. Seems like every visit is busier than the last. The shopping/tasting room was packed with people. Tastings (up to 8) were free. They combined the groups' (3couples) purchases for the 10-bottle discount.

we left our teenage kids at the hotel across the street and headed over. There wasn't a huge selection of wines however we were the only ones there so we had plenty of attention! The wines are 5 bucks for tasting, but if you buy 2 bottles, the tasting is free.

We try to get to Satek at least a couple of times a year. The wine is really good and you can't find it in stores. They have unusual varieties like Mango Mania and Raspberry but also traditional types like Red Zin and Chardonnay.It is nice to spend time tasting (and it is free) before you make your purchase. The help is very friendly and has tips (mango mania with orange juice in the morning or with vodka at night). We have met the owner several times and he is really interesting.You don't have to be 21 to go in. They have grape and apple juice for kids. The wine is reasonably priced.

This place has excellent wines at a good price. The staff is more than willing to describe each wine and the history of the wine and the vineyard. With free tasting you can't go wrong.

Friendly people, good wine. You can sample 8 - 10 wines of different varieties. We usually get a mixed case to get the extra discount. Don't forget to buy a few shoppers also. My favorite sweet wine is the mango.

Stopped at the winery and found a quaint place to taste and have lunch picnic. Staff was very nice and the wine was good. Too bad they do not have a better view but they do have a picnic table area.

Nice little winery. Friendly staff. Clean and accommodating. Easy to get to and definitely worth your time. Take an hour to stop by

Free flight of six wines to taste, however they had a limited selection and none of them were to my liking. People seem to love it, I just did not. Not many gifts to choose from.

Very friendly! ! Spent a few hours with friends and had a very enjoyable visit. Bought several different kinds of wine. Very nice gift and close to the freeway.

This local place has become one of our favorites! The people there are very friendly and the wine is reasonably priced. If you like a sweet wine their 101 lakes red is the best!

Free wine tasting. Excellent wines, reasonably priced. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Clean environment.

I recommend booking the groupon for $10 you get a $10 gift certificate toward wine, 2 wine glasses and a tour of how wines are made. I love the apple wine because it is made with apples from a local orchard. There are many sweet and dry varieties.

Beautiful Grounds, plenty of room to have a bottle of wine in the shade. Inside of the winery, were many friendly attendants, who let you sample up to 8 wines for FREE. All of the wines were good. We ended up going home with a few bottles. I'm really looking forward to the raspberry wine and the chocolate wine sauce! We took our kids in with us. This was not a problem. They were offered juice boxes and crackers:)

The selection of wines at this small winery is just amazing. The Mango wine is to die for in taste. They are so helpful in finding the best wine for each occasion.

It was nice to do something different. I love the smell of wine fermenting. I like dry red but the dry white was unusually good too.
