Small, low-key winery an almost be missed if not looking for it. Tourist off-season is a great time to visit. We had the entire place to ourselves (3 couples). Great chance to learn more about how wineries operate.

We left our teenage kids at the hotel and headed down the road to this winery. The couple inside was very helpful and friendly. There were plenty of wines to taste. The tasting is free here at this winery. We purchased 2 bottles of wine! Thanks for a nice time!

This winery is owned and operated by a great couple who craft wonderful wine from both local and imported grapes. They have a couple excellent dry reds and several very good semi sweet white wines. My favorites are the Nebiola and Golden Tram.

The winery is located on a golf course. The winery is really just a tasting room, not really somewhere to spend the afternoon. With that said, the wine we tried was all very good. The employee working was fantastic and was able to explain all the wines. We purchased three bottles. Overall, a nice stop.

My husband and I were out exploring the countryside in Northeast Indiana after doing some bids for future window cleaning customers when we came across a little sign about a winery and tasting room in the garden level of a local golf club in Fremont Indiana. We had an extremely enjoyable time tasting the dry red and dry white wines that Brian produces with love and care in the cool dark cozy basement of the golf club where the winery and tasting room is located. We were delighted to discover how great Briali Wine is. Our favourites were their Cabernet Franc 2012 and their Petite Sirah 2012 which we had to buy because we enjoyed them so much. The secret ingredient to their wonderful wine must be love. As we talked with Brian and his mum who pours the tastings we quickly realized their passion for winemaking is what makes it so great. Such joy and happiness. What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon together. We've been making our own wine in our home for over 20 years and we rejoice that we have found such great wine so close to where we live in Indiana. We look forward to visiting again soon and enjoying more of Briali Vineyards wines in our future. Stop by and taste the beauty of their wine!

We had golfed at the golf course and was surprised there was a winery in the lower level. It didn't look like much so our expectations were low when we stopped in after golf around 4:00 on a Friday. We were surprised to see two other couples in there already and later two more couples showed up. I was pleasantly surprised that the wines I tried were pretty good - I like dry wines and usually don't care for the local wines as they are pretty weak and more on the sweet side. I was shocked to find one white wine (can't recall which one) that was 15.7%! It was aged in a bourbon barrel and was very different and we really enjoyed that one. I think it was around $24 for the bottle. Yes it cost $5 for sampling 6 wines and then we bought a glass for $8, but it was a nice find and we'll definitely go back with our friends next time.

We hosted a shower here this weekend and had an amazing time. Not only is it such a unique and fantastic location but the wine is delicious!! Instead of playing typical shower games, we tasted wine! Most of our guests ended up buying wine as they left because they enjoyed it so much! Brian and Alicia are amazing owners who saw to it that our every need was met!

My wife and I went there after 6 on a Friday when a live acoustic duo was playing. We had a blast. There were free hors d'oeuvres. We a bottle of Petite Verdot for $18.00 (which was excellent) and danced to the music. Good fun and a reasonable cost for three hours of fun. The hors d'oeuvres were not great but free so can't really complain. There were plenty of single people over 35 so it was quite lively. Visitors we met from Indy seem to be have great fun too. Everyone was very friendly!

For a start up winery, I found the owner to be quite condescending. I have been to many wineries through the country and never have been treated as poorly as I was here. Here the sampling is not free. You pay $5 for 6 - 1 ounce samples, which is not bad, but he bad mouthed another local winery for giving away free samples. We were looking for a Reisling or similar tasting wine. We picked a wine to try, and instead of pouring 3-1 ounce glasses, he poured 1 ounce in 1 glass and had us share. I really didn't care for the wine I had tasted and he made a snarky comment to another customer on how we must not like wine, instead of suggesting a wine that I might like. Needless to say I will not be back.

Attended a wine tasting event at Briali that was well attended and we enjoyed the music most of all. The facility is at the Country Meadows Golf Course and used to be a resturant of positive renown. This is a must see vinyard while in North Steuben County Indiana. BTW - there are a few other vinyards of local renown as well. Pokagon State Park is nearby and there are many hotels in the immediate vicinity of both.
