We decided to make use of a 3 day weekend and spent the day at Conner Prairie. We had been previously but years ago. Both of our kids 10 and 14 had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the experience. There are a ton of different activities for the kids and we were a bit rushed at the end of the day to get everything in. Everyone that they had questions for was patient and truly took the time to answer them and make sure that they understood.Lunch was good on the grounds and the caramel apples and cider next door were fantastic.Definitely a good trip.

Had out of town guests visiting for business so I wanted to do something different. Went on a Thursday evening. Ezra was our host. He walked us out to the Connor house where we met by a older lady and a younger one. We were welcomed into the house and treated to popcorn, hot cider, cheese, crackers and sausage. The staff were dressed in period costume and stayed in character. We were asked to help in the kitchen, which is part of the "show" - some churn butter, other made corn bread, cranberry sauce and many other things. After dinner, you go into the parlor with Ezra while he plays the fiddle and sings songs. You will also get a tour of the Connor house. After you go back to the dining room which has been reset for dessert. A real fun evening!

A great experience back in time. Midwest America during a time without the internet. Helping one another, learning a trade...This is a great place for a new experience of the old world (100 - 200 years back in time). Learn to make a fire without matches or a lighter. Caring for one another took a lot of time and collaboration. You can experience it here.

Great interactive history park - beautiful grounds - costumed interpretators are very knowledgeable and they stay in the 1836 period.

This Smithsonian affiliated living history site engages you from the moment you enter its grounds. Experience living history and interactive sites. Learn the importance of science in history and our future through hands on immersion. Don't forget to go up in the hot air balloon!

Conner Prairie has the distinction of being a Smithsonian affiliate. It is a truly interactive history experience. There is something for every age, from hearthside suppers you help prepare, to the animals, costumed interpreters, and participating in village life. Just remember to check your 21st century at the door. The interpreters will be bewildered by references to cell phones and even to the names of modern countries. The only downside is that one should exercise good judgment when it's hot out, as there isn't much relief available.I have visited multiple times with family and friends.

Conner Prairie is a hidden treasure. I'm fortunate to live in Fishers and be able to enjoy it many times during the year. After my first visit four years ago, I have purchased a membership each year. No matter how often I go there's always a new experience. The 'residents' of Prairie Town share their stories. The baby animals are always entertaining. I recommend visiting when the outdoor activities are open.

The interactive room was captivating for our grandchildren. There were displays of inventions made by Indiana natives with the ability for children to create scenarios that might captivate their imagination. The 4 year old was as engaged as the 8 year old and the engineer parents were in their glory! We spent several hours there and then moved on to a room where the kids could build "forts" with fabric and posts that resembled the ones the grandparents had built using a blanket over the card-table a half a century ago! This is a wonderful opportunity for kids to explore, let out steam, and experience educational displays that are "fun". Because we visited in January, the outdoor section was not open, but we can't wait to return in the future. I would highly recommend families in the vicinity join as members. It would be a sound investment with the ability to participate in special events and to visit for shorter periods of time than you might if you only paid for the one visit. A great museum!

We visited in December and found there was a ton of things for the kids to do. Very well laid out, and good assistance on hand as needed. Excellent facility. Can't wait to see the outdoor part in the warmer months.

Summer concerts are fabulous. Have been going since they started. Saw the Beach boys 3 times in 2014 for less total money than I've paid for one concert in the past.

Our family, which included 4 grandchildren, visited during the day for the Christmas holidays. Since the evening tour was recommended for children 8 and over, we opted for the daytime visit. Many years ago we took our children for the night tour which proved to be a little more interesting. The facility does an outstanding job of recreating the buildings and 1837 villagers. It's interesting that all of the staff in the pioneer portion stay completely in character in that section of the park.Conner Prairie is alway worth the visit.

I took my now grown sons here a few times whole they were younger, and have such great memories. We took our grandson who is only 3 years old, but it was a beautiful fall day to walk around the paths, see the animals, meet the artisans dressed in period clothing. It's still the wonderful place it was 25 years ago...can't wait to go back on several occasions as our grand kids grow!

We've been members at Conner Prairie for several years. They have events throughout the year. It's educational and makes for a great afternoon outing for the family.

This is an old timey town that is fun and interesting, nice to go in the summer, sort of laid back but live animals there so I liked it

Conner Prairie is a beautiful place. Our children are so consumed with electronics these days. It's good to show them that our country has not always been technical. Seeing the history of how things were appreciated from simple tasks. Love it
