Friendly staff great history experience awesome time with the family and friends you could tell they cared about there community would do again

This was a last minute idea for us. My husband and I were travelling with our 2 young daughters and thought it might be fun for them. We all enjoyed it much more than we imagined. The staff went way above the call of duty. When I called for reservations, there were only 2 places left. They called me back right away and squeezed us in on fold out tables. The girls thought it was really cool to eat on their own little table, so we didn't mind. There is a bar aboard which was perfect for my husband and me. Buffet dinner was delicious. After dinner we went out to the front of the train, as well as the back. It's was really exciting for the girls. We saw lots of wild life. We went to one car that has sofa like seats. That is where we had the most fun. We talked with everyone. It was a blast.

Take the train ride to French Lick ... We did this and it was a beautiful experience through the middle of southern Indiana it takes about 1 hour each way. The train cars are comfortable and spacious mixed drinks and beer available for purchase.

Great throw back in time ! just a relaxing place to visit and if you want take a ride on the train and enjoy the scenery

My friend just got remarried and had her reception on a couple of the train cars. What an awesome venue. The setting is beautiful. The train depot always looks like it came right out of a postcard. Being on the trains was a really neat experience even though we didn't move. I would highly recommend using this venue for your next intimate party.

on 10/13/13, four of us done the dinner train experience. One of us was disabled. She has a hard time with steps. There were none at the depot. This was great. We were in the car with wooden seats. This particular car has more rocking than others. I went to the parlor car where there is a lounge with big cushions and set until they stopped the train to eat. Food was great! People working on the train were wonderful. We found some of them were volunteers. Scenery was nice. Trees are turning. I needed to relax and this was perfect. This was a 3.5 hr. train ride.
