The owner, Doug, built a studio solely on his passion for glass. The studio has items for sale, classes and studio time for those who want the entire blown glass experience.

Just off Main Street, the Hot Glass Shop is a treasure of exciting glass blowing, classes and wonderful creations to purchase. It isn't every community that has an accessible feature like this.

We visited during a First Friday and the glassworks they produce, on site, is impressive. True artisans.

A treat for my wife, a glass blowing class. Spent the weekend in Racine and did this to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. The class was $40 a person and we were there for about 3 hours. Personalized instructions - one on one - and you can make an ornament or paperweight. My wife made the paperweight and I did the ornament. Turned out great and we shipped them home for $10. Had to cool overnight so we couldn't take them with us and they were closed the next day. Highly recommend!
