south milwaukee performing arts center

I have been to over 50 events at the So. Milwaukee Performing Arts Center over the past seven years. I have attended dance recitals, band concerts, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra performance, plays, comedians, choirs, and award presentations. The venue is fabulous. the acoustics are outstanding, the seats are comfortable and there isn't a bad seat in the house. If you have the opportunity to attend an event at the SM performing Arts Center, please do. I know you will fall in love with the center as I have.

I am always pleasantly surprised with the performances at the SMPAC. First the venue is top-notch. There is not a bad seat in the place and acoustics are great. The musical acts are varied and of high quality. Parking is easy and the staff is very friendly. The city of South Milwaukee is fortunate to have such a place.

There are regular, top notched performances happening at the SMPAC. All types of entertainment from plays, dance, the MSO to improv comedy. Very proud to live a community that has such an excellent arts center!

We just saw Arlo Guthrie here, who commented on what a nice venue it was.It has very good acoustics and the seats are all comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful.My one minor complaint is that they could have better signage both inside and out.

Recently caught a great performance by Avner the Eccentric at this venue. The theatre is actually part of the local town's public school building - it's a nice comfy place to see a show, and pricing is very reasonable for the caliber of the venue brings in.

South Milwaukee High School's beautiful auditorium is available for assorted types of music and theater events several times a year. I saw a progressive rock show featuring Renaissance and Steve Hackett June 30, 2010. The sound was fantastic, and the seating was comfortable (the essential concert criteria for old farts like me).

I have been to several performances here, from hearing John Gurda speak about Milwaukee to an Irish rock band called The Elders. The prices are a great value for a terrific variety of entertainment. This is a smaller venue where there isn't a bad seat in the place. I highly recommend it.

Although it is attached to the middle and high schools, the auditorium is much more than you would expect from a school facility. The SMPAC has brought in some wonderful performances and shows in their season series. The facility has good acoustics throughout the house with no bad seats in the house. Enjoy the show!

We have been to the center several times for dance reviews. Even with the large amount of seats available, they are spread sideways and none are too far from the stage to see
