Enthusiastic crowd, good food selection and friendly ushers and parking attendants. Security is also excellent.

Thrilled to have a MLS soccer team representing the Philadelphia area. Love the positive attitude everyone has from the tailgating, to the great stadium and our great team. Go UNION!!!

PPL Park is a beautiful stadium. Visited the venue for a Drum Corps competition in the summer of 2014. The stadium is nicely appointed and well laid out. For Drum Corps, the acoustics were terrific, especially for an outdoor venue. What struck me about the venue was the bridge, highway and water views. So unique. Made it a pleasure to be there, even before the competition begam.

I really enjoyed my first taste of the MLS here. Quite a way out of the city but the train got me to Chester fine and then there is a free coach waiting outside the station to drop you off at the ground which is a great service. A nice stadium in which every seat is a good seat. Staff were very helpful at helping me navigate the stadium and the same goes for the staff in the club shop. Tickets were good value but just like all sporting events in the US food and drink in the stadium is very overpriced. A good evening out.

I have been to PPL Park many times for the Philadelphia Union games. We have season passes so I have been able to get the layout of the place fairly good. The stadium itself is located in a good spot with a really nice view of the bridge that crosses into New Jersey. The only thing I have to say that is bad about the park is that the food is not as good as the other stadiums in Philadelphia and I am hoping for some improvement in the future. But overall great venue and well maintained.

All seemed to be good seats for soccer. We went for the CONCACAF FINALS. place was maybe one third full. Parking seemed a bit disorganized, and rather expensive at $25. Concessions were a bit high even for stadium range prices, and lines were long in too many places.... Especially when considering 1/3 capacity crowd? Bathrooms were clean. Weird interior set up, they had back section of stadium blocked off from foot traffics, you actually had to leave stadium to walk outside in fenced channel, and then renter another gate. Design flaw for stadium with inadequate team /locker facilities?

Long lines for beer, and cheesesteaks are horrible. But fries are very good. Best place for soccer though.

We attended a Union Match recently. We are from out of state and we were very pleased at how easy it was to get there. We took the train from the city center. Upon arrival there were 2 shuttle busses waiting for us. There were police on hand as well for security. We were let off very close to the stadium. Don't go too early though. They don't let you in until an hour before start time. It was a comfortable stadium with the standard snacks and foods for purchase. We were getting chilly and wanted to make sure we got back for or train so we left a little early. The bus took us back to the train station right then. It was a nice evening.

My wife and I recently met with friends to attend a Union soccer game on a Thursday night at PPL Park. This was our first trip to this venue to see a game. The facility is very nice and it seems like every seat has a good view of the game. There were plenty of bathroom facilities and they were very clean. We enjoyed the game and the atmosphere in the stadium. However, the stadium is in a place of town that seams a bit unnerving. The road in and out of the park is small and it is difficult to get out without a substantial wait. The parking was over priced and the food concessions were as well. We would have thought that the pricing would have been more reasonable for a sport and venue trying to become more popular and increase its fan base. Although we had a nice time, we would not return.

I have been to several Union matches during the 2014 season. Every seat in this stadium offers a full view of the field. The drinks and food are expensive as expected in a stadium, but the food is surprisingly good. If you are a low-key person or going with younger kids the river-end seats where the Sons-of-Ben cheer should probably be avoided the first time out.The parking is the only serious issue. There is sufficient space, but the lots are not well marked, and tailgating in most of the lots is impossible. The $20 fee is excessive unless they will be updating the lot soon, especially considering how limited public transportation for the park is.

The Union don't really seem to care about trying to draw in casual or new fans. The fans at the park are fun, the atmosphere is electric, and the stadium is intimate with great sight lines. But I was shocked to see prices higher than at a Phillies game; from the base ticket prices, to parking to concessions. $25 to park; $10 for Crab Fries. I kind of expected a less expensive outing for a sport that is supposed to be building a bigger following.

Great facility. Not huge but thats a good thing and perect for good views and a fun atmosphere. We took our 2 kids, both under 10 years old, and were a little worried if this was going to be a cursing Eagles crowd or a laid back Phillies. It gurned out to definitely be a place to take kids without all the usual boozyness associated with some sports. Every seat has a great view so just pick a seat and go. The Sons of Ben were great. Non stop chanting and razzing the opposing team is a show in itself. Food was very good. Prices were less than at Veterans Stadium, slightly, and only on some items. Crabby Fries were 10 dollars and a bottle water was 4.25 to give you an idea.Only problem was getting out of the parking lot. It did take an hour and there was only 1 cop we saw directing traffic. There could have been more but we only saw one. We also parked in an area off Comodor Barry exit/ Chester Waterfront because we followed trafic in and asked the guy I pad $20 which lot it was. He said it is not a Union lot but they are officially a lot. Some people turned around in the lot when they found out it was not an offical A,B,C,D lot causing backups. The lot was basically rocks and a large yard but they hold up a big official looking parking sign. I would not, not, not park there again because I realized there is no attendant watching cars at that lot even though 100 + cars parked there. Aside from the totally shady parking situation they have going on there it is a great place. It is just too bad that they don't have better signage for parking set up for peoples first and last experience when arriving and leaving the stadium. Unfortunately most of my review is parking focused but fix the signage for people who don't regularly hang out in Chester that seems pretty basic. Overall the Stadium and venue was great.

I wanted to leave a review to share this important tidbit with you: DO NOT bring a water bottle with you. I carry a reusable bottle to try to be environmentally friendly. They asked me to throw it away so I could then spend $4.25 plastic bottle of water. In the meantime they have signs all over inside about how they're trying to go green. Poor decision PPL.

Terrific little stadium. On the river. Good view of the Commodore Barry Bridge. Neatly every seat has a good view. Plenty of facilities. Clean bathrooms. Well-behaved family atmosphere. But....Parking and access are bad. Staff are not knowledgable. Prices for food and water are high.

I finally had a chance to catch a Philadelphia Union professional soccer game. I live in the Philadelphia suburbs and should have gone sooner. Getting there is a breeze and parking is reasonable. The place is clean as a whistle and there are plenty of concessions for food and drink. We had access to the Stadium Club which is at the west end of the field looking east towards the Delaware River. There is a terrace off of the club with tables and chairs. All seats in the stadium have great sight lines and the energy of the fans is contagious. The folks that work there are nice and helpful if you have any questions. I will be going back since we had a ton of fun, a day out was reasonable and my interest in the other professional sports is waning. If you like soccer, or have never been to a professional game, I think you'll love this place. I'll be back....
