The guides & staff were great, they were very understanding of the unfortunate incident that prevented our second group from attending. I could see how someone might find it a little expensive but if they realize the cost of the equipment, they would understand the price. Looking forward to a second visit soon
So I booked 3 Wildcats for Sunday MLK weekend for my group. Reservation at 11:30. Turns out there was an ice rain the night before and on Sunday, PA was a state of emergency. We were staying at the Inn at Pocono Manor and could not even get off the mountain. I called to cancel and explained it all, but they would not refund the $50 per vehicle deposit. What reputable company does that given the situation I described?
Brought my family here, talk about robbing you blind!! I will never go here again with my family! Trails were horrible. I will not recommend to any of my friends!
My husband and I went on an ATV tour. It was a lot of fun. Our guide, James, was great. This was our first time on ATVs. I found it easy to learn. The trails were beautiful. I'd like to go back in the warmer weather. I'd also like to go back with our daughters, and try the four person.
Beautiful, clean, rock & mud. Woman running the counter late 2 days, she was only there 2 days...However, that was the only negative. Prices were good and scenery beautiful
My husband gave me a wildcat tour for my bday. The two of us and my daughter had a blast!!! It was very dusty, you will get covered if it isn't raining! I thought the trails were perfect for us, nothing crazy, well kept. You are outside so yes, there are rocks but I did not think it was that bad. We will go back again, it was a blast!!!! I think they do have more technical trails for more advanced riders but for us just out for a fun day, it was perfect!!
This was our first time on ATVs (we're 50) and had a blast. Our guides were courteous and careful as we trekked up the mountain, rested and started back down. I was very nervous, but loved every moment! My husband can't wait to go back and take his brothers!
You better like rocks because you will ride a lot of them I ride a dirtbike I like rocks but if you don't it will beat you up.
Our second trip to Lost Trails with the 3 hour Gilligan tour did not disappoint. Trails have been expanded and improved since our last visit one year ago. Outstanding scenic views. Great guides Great machines. We were very aggressive in driving the trails. You can be as aggressive or as easy as you choose. Long pants socks and gloves are a must See you next year!
Got there before opening on a Friday. Staff was friendly, trails were groomed where possible and only a few trails were rutted deep... But only a few. Plenty of mud, rock, packed dirt, and rock, both loose and solid. 2 hours each way to this place from NJ but if I wasn't so sore today from 35miles of riding I'd consider going back right now! See you in a few weeks Lost Trails.
This was our seventh visit to Lost Trails. Each time the place gets better and better. They have groomed many trails, added a bridge and new trails. Everything is well marked and maintained . I like the newly added food stands in the parking lot. The pizza was great! We first started coming here when my son was 9 years old and riding a 110cc machine. He has graduated into a Suzuki Ozark 250 and has encompassed all the milestone attractions (burnt bus, lake, tunnel and top of the world). Lost Trails never gets old for us. We could probably ride there daily, for months before we even considered getting board with the place. This is a great place for some quality family fun or father/son bonding.
Great trails for rock riding....My first experience left me wanting to go back and follow the trails further. Being on the top of high ridges and wildin out in between trees was killer! Tons of fun! Bring friends, a cooler full of food, and have an awesome day!
We took our 7 & 9 year old sons to Lost Trails on Memorial Day. They were on their 70cc Eton and 90cc Polaris Outlaw while we were on full size quads. Trails were nice - some were relatively easy, some were rockier, some were muddy. The boys only got hung up a few times due to the low clearance on the kids quads, but I was easily able to get them back on track and riding again. The tunnel is very cool, and the boys really liked riding thru the stream. Price was $35 per adult and $25 per kid. We were there for about 4 hours or so and the kids has a blast...parents had fun too! Get food before you get to the exit, as there is nothing right off that exit. There is currently a pizza place that will deliver, but I think they were closed for the holidays so that didn't help us. Thankfully we had snacks and drinks from home that we took in a backpack out on the ride. All in all, it was a good time. We'll definitely be heading back. Just wish it was a little closer to home!
We rode the Wildcat and it was awesome. Our tour guides were very friendly, patient & knowledgeable. They took us up the mountain and through a little creek and that Wildcat went through everything without a problem. When you get to the top of the mountain the view is absolutely beautiful. We took some pictures and then headed back. We will definitely visit again in the warmer months.
For $35 you get amazing trails to ride legally. In this area there are some great trails to ride but our good old government will fine you and even take your quad. Also during hunting season a lot of state parks will close their ATV trails until the winter. This park is open all year long which is a huge bonus. If you love it as much as we did you can even buy a season pass. The staff was very friendly when I called with some questions and very informative once we arrived. Park your vehicle and trailer in the large parking lot where the sign for The Lost Trails is. To get to the office to purchase your wrist band look for the staircase. Go down the staircase and into the large building. You will need to fill out a waiver before you purchase your wrist band at the desk. You will receive a map and instructions if you've never been to the park. The parking lot is very large and organized. They have porta potties and had a food truck in the afternoon when we visited. The trails range from green (easiest) to red/black (hardest). The trails are marked at the intersections so you will know the difficulty of your path. We rode hard for 5 hours and were able to see most of the green and blue trails. We went to the Top of the World, The Tunnel, Twin Lakes and the Burnt Bus. The Top of the World was the most difficult trail we did but it was worth it. We did not venture to the areas where the trails were marked red/black. The tails are mostly rocky and you have the option of playing in the mud pits or going around them. I am an experienced automatic utility rider but this was my first trip with my manual Honda TRX 300EX. Literally my first time on a manual anything. I had some trouble on the more difficult trails only because I was not comfortable with a manual yet. There are trails for every level of rider and the land is beautiful. The company also has the option for renting ATVs and side-by-sides and guided tours. I would highly recommend this park and we will be returning.
