The wines are top notch. Not the cheapest but worth the price. In the fall they have a corn maze and plenty of activities to keep the kids happy during wine tastings. This is at the vineyard, not the retail store. It's a beautiful setting and well worth the trip
We went to their Father's Day special event last summer and had a great time. The food (catered by a food truck) was good and the wines were awesome. Every person who worked there, including the owner, were very attentive and helpful. The wine tasting flights were great!
Our experience with Paradox was very informative and the servers were very friendly. They did not really have a tour of the Winery, but the experience of wine tasting was very good. I would go back in the spring and summer for there enjoyable atmosphere.
We stopped in to Paradocx for a tasting on my friend's birthday. This wasn't our first visit and it won't be our last. The servers are all very friendly and we quickly selected the wines for our tasting. We relaxed by the fireplace and chatted with other visitors while we waited. Their red wines are flavorful and well balanced and our selection included their port style wine. We enjoyed the port style because it wasn't cloyingly sweet and it has some nice acidity. I always look forward to returning to Paradocx.
We attended a Saturday concert at this beautiful vineyard in southern Chester County! What a nice time with music and wine. Many families bring picnics and the kids run around and play. My advice is to bring your own food- there were no crabs, or shrimp left from the food truck. The other trucks had ice cream and sandwiches- mainly hamburgers and hotdogs. The tasting room is very nice, and staff were very patient and efficient. Love wine in a paint can!
I first visited Paradocx's winery a few years ago for my friends birthday celebration - we toured a few local wineries that day. I visited some of Paradocx's other locations (in Philadelphia and Kennett Square) before getting back to their winery in Landenberg. They have since added many new and wonderful wines over the years and have a great tasting setup for you to choose which 4 you would like. I love the winery building and setup, although it is smaller. If you are going to stop by with a larger group it might be good to call them in advance and let them know. They participate in the Brandywine Wine Trail typically every year and they are a great stop!
We enjoyed the tastings at the Paradocx Vineyard. The tasting staff were very kind and upbeat even though we arrived five minutes before closing. The location is lovely. They have an interesting way to package some of their more popular wines. They sell them in a paint bucket. It works the same way a box wine works with an internal bag. It's also recyclable as only the internal bag not the entire paint bucket needs to be replaced. When you've drunk up all your wine you just bring in your bucket and they replace the bag. Their most memorable wine was a white wine infused with tea called "T". I imagine it would be dangerous over ice on a hot summer day.
Surprised to see the option to buy wine at Booth's corner. I bought the rose blush and Barn Red; like that one so well, I bought a paint can of it.
A visit to Paradocx is like dropping in on old friends. The staff alike is always friendly and accomodating and the wine is divine. Its always fun to attend one of the summer concert series and hang out at a picnic table or sit on the grass with a picnic dinner and listen to one of the talented and professional groups playing. The vineyard is very family friendly and even has a swing set and large moon bounce for kids. They iffer flights of wne and discounted glasses during concerts and happy hour. Even when there isn't a concert, its a great place to relax and unwind. there is pnly a fee for concerts which includes admission and your first glass of wine..
friendly hosts, informative; very original concept for 'bottling' their wines; wines are excellent; buy the white chocolate bar they sell inside- yummmm....tasting is $7
Paradocx has got the fun and the marketing down - with great labels and wine in novelty paint cans. Theirs are quaffing wines, not gourmet savoring wines, but no matter! It was a nice visit.
Came with a group of 8 to the winery today and found it to be quite confusing and unorganized. There was one person working a register to take money and a long line kept building up while one bartender was serving drinks and doing wine tastings across the room. The lady serving the wines never told us what we were drinking but just a number (1-5). We asked for a list and she said she didn't have any but look around and you can see them on the wall. Plus they never even attempted to tell us anything about their winery or the types of wines. My wife and I travel to lots of wineries and felt as though this place didn't care about the customers.

We've visited Paradocx several time with our most recent being in Sept '12 with 2 other families and thier children for harvest fest. For the admission price (adults) of $15 you get a wine glass and a ticket which allows you 1 glass of white, red or rose. I had the white wash which was very sweet, a little too sweet for my taste. Our friends who had the red seemed to enjoy it. We brought our blankets, chairs and snacks and sat on the lawn to listen to live music while the kids jumped in the moon bounce. They have a grill under a tent where you can purchase hamburgers and hotdogs. I thought it was a tad on the expensive side, ie $8 for hotdog and baked beans. There are 2 reasons I only rated 3 stars as I think there is room for improvement. First, we ordered my daughter a hotdog and it came cut in to 4s and squished a hamburger bun. She is picky and would not eat it that wayy. We end up just taking it off the bun for her to eat plain. Disappointing for $8!! Second, I've noticed more than once that what is advertised on the web site is not always accurate, ie whether or not there will be a moon bounce for the kids or some other form of entertainment. One of our friends declined coming with us this particular evening because the web site said the moonbounce would not be out this night but would be out the following weekend. However, when we arrived we saw there was a moon bounce up. But it was too late for our friends to join us. Also, the web site advertised an obstacle course and the kids were very excited for this. However, we arrived at 5:15pm only to learn that it closed at 5pm. The kids were very disappointed to look at the course but not be able to enjoy. It seemed very odd to me that it would close so early on a Saturday when there was still several hours of sunlight at it was a beautiful night. Anyway, these may seem like a small things, but for those of us that are looking for a distraction for our kids we depend on accuracy! Overall, we had a fun evening and enjoyed spending time with our firends. You will have a great time if you're the type thats aboe to "go with the flow."
Love their ice tea infused wine- buy it by case- They have concerts and are kid friendly. I wish their wine was more widely available
