ski denton

I have skied Denton Hill for the past 40 years... It is a great ski area, challenging hill with moguls or sidewinding paths to ski at your leasure.

We took our 9 kids (don't ask) skiing at great Denton lodge. Although it was more expensive than a movie (maybe we should spring for Netflix some day), it was cheaper than the Winnebago we use to drive our large brood around (not to mention the gas bills! ;) ). Denton was great for such a large group, as our parenting strategy is really to just "rum 'em like dogs". The best part if that whole deal was the pomalift. Most of the kids were ascared of the contraption, but the poma quickly became the highlight of the day - even when one of the kids was falling off (and especially when another of the kids was coming next and "accidentally" skiing over his/her sibling). We would definitely recommend Great Dentin lodge to anyone else out there who could have kids like us.

I grew up in this area and skiied there for many years. Located in Central Pa on rte. 6, great trails and downhill skiing. Hotels near by and restaraunts.

We took our children and foster children there to learn how to sky many years ago anbd I'm sure it even better now than then

We took our kids skiing here when they were younger. They loved it. I watched from the lodge, that was nice too.
