It has been a long time since York had a Professional baseball club. The stadium is only a few years old and it is a great attraction for York. If you enjoy baseball and are in the York area when the York Revs are playing. A few dollars will get you a night of enjoyment without have to pay a fortune to go to Baltimore or Philadelphia.
My PURPOSE for this visit to York, to watch the Sugar Land Skeeters take on the York Revolution in the 2014 Atlantic League baseball playoffs Now Santander Stadium as Santander Bank has bought out Sovereign Bank. GPS Warning 5 Brooks Robinson Way..use the other adders and you won't find it.Four Atlantic League parks are super similar, Constellation Field, Santander Stadium, Regency Furniture Stadium and Clipper Magazine Stadium..all for very family friendly with playgrounds, etc. The Revolution staff and vendors get a BIG woo-'hoo to this Texan who came to cheer on the visiting team.I am already planning next years trip.
Great family fun. Great food staff is friendly and helpful. Handicapped accessible, parking and seating.
The field seats are a good value if you like sitting in the outfield on grass. There are seats there but mostly a grassy area. Great area for families, plus there's a play area right next door for the kids to play if they get bored with the game.
Great place to watch a ballgame.. it's not Camden Yards but it's a great place, clean, prices are decent. Parking is a bit of a pain but not horrible. Not a bad seat in the house. Would definetely go again.
This is now Santander Stadium. Great local, family venue for a game. The York team is independent, so it's nice for the chance to see the players end up at any professional team. The venue is nice and has great views from anywhere in the stadium. The parking lot is about a block away, very convenient. Easy in and out of the parking lot. The cannon fires on every homerun and Downtown (the mascot) visits all areas in the stadium during the game.
I recently went to a Revs game and had a great time. The staff works very hard to see that everyone has a good time. There was lots of action going on all the time. We paid $12 for box seats and I don't think that was unreasonable. Fireworks completed the night which were very well done. The food was even reasonably priced. They have a special playground for the kiddos with rides. I think they cost extra but we didn't have any children with us so I'm not sure. I would highly recommend this venue and want to go again soon.
I love the atmosphere here. The baseball is a lot more competitive than you would expect for non-affiliated ball. Well kept and clean.
Outstanding family atmosphere for quality baseball. We have held an awards event there for York Area Sports Night the past two years. The staff if great! They are very accommodating and are very professional.
this is called Santander Stadium now, and what a treat... oh, for gps-ers, make that address 5 Brooks Robinson Way... we were visually overwhelmed by the sight of the Fenway-like fence in left and the small amusement park... terrific ballpark, tremendous concessions, especially the beers (one each)... nice, friendly folk all the way around, a classic minor-league ballpark... we were even able to tolerate the small legion of youngsters with little or no interest in the game, except holding up signs that blocked out view... years ago we'd have been steamed at this, most be getting tolerant with old age...
Lovely attraction to a city that is on the mend. Located in a part of the city that is turning around, for the better. Great restaurant /bars around to hit up after the game. Activities for kids at the stadium besides watching the game, such as field activities, playground, merry go round. They even have dog nights!!
Convenient parking. Prices low. Exciting play. Great play area for kids. Food and drinks reasonably priced.
Minor League baseball can't be beat for the value/enjoyment ratio. And few do it better than the York Revolution. To be correct - the stadium has changed it's sponsor name, but to Yorkers it's Rev Stadium anyway.I overheard my grandchildren from England (who look forward to a visit every year) telling their friends about American Baseball. "It's brilliant," they say. "You go on the merry-go-round and eat popcorn." For me, there's more to it than that, but they're not far off. There is something for everyone.
Love taking the kids to see the Revs. Great family experience without the cost of a pro game. Plus there's a playground for the kids.
Nice stadium, near downtown York getto, would not want to be alone at night in York, Pa., really nothing around this town to see, If you like stadiums this is a very nice one.
