This museum was invented for kids for all ages. they give an unbelievable experience form touching some toys to teaching skills. I recommend a visit with your kids or grand kids all adult enjoy the experience as well. they also have a nice restaurant with healthy food there.

My toddler loves this museum! There's enough activities to keep busy for 1 hour or 6 hours...especially if you have a kid that really likes the carousel. The exhibits are adorable, educational, entertaining and inviting all at the same time. They've thought through all the details - safety for your little ones, age appropriate activities, even the food was good :)

Fantastic place for folks with little ones. We had to go twice in the same week for two different class trips with our daughters. Loved it both times and got to see things we missed the first time around. The kids enjoyed every minute of it and were asleep on the bus for the ride home!

Great place for both families and adults alike. For children, the venue allows hands on learning and appeals to children 10 and under. For older children or adults, they offer history tours which are fantastic!

This museum is great for little kids 2-5. We have 5, 9, 11 and 12 year olds. The 11 and 12 year olds were very bored!!

Visited with our kids and they had a blast. They particularly enjoyed the parade through the lobby that ends each day. My main concern is price. It seems high for a kids museum. Your mileage may vary on that, of course. Just keep it in mind.

The 2, 5 year old girls had hours of fun. Each room has a different theme. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable.

I have gone multiple times with several young kids and they always love it and are excited by the wide array of activities. One reviewer wrote that this is a glorified pre-school and you could do the activities at home. Possibly but you would have to have 2 department store size floors of activities for that to be true! I have never seen a room-size construction set with foam brick blocks or a kid size grocery store with kid size shopping carts or an Alice in Wonderland maze or a kid size hospital/patient area anywhere before. My cousin doesn't like this place but I keep telling him that it is not for him. It is for his 4 year old son who has lots of fun! Parents have to want to engage with their children in the activities or be OK sitting and watching them play (bring a book to read or play on your phone if you are bored watching your kids have fun). I agree that this is for younger kids (under 7). However, one of my friend's 12 year old son has gone 2X to the Halloween Party and loved it. So, it depends on what your older child likes. If you go on a regular day, go early to get your money's worth. It is pricey because they charge for adults. If you go with a large group of family/friends and live in the area, you probably should get the membership so your money goes farther and you can visit again. Also, check their website for any special activities. The Storybook Ball, Halloween Party, and New Year's Eve Countdown to Noon are fantastic activities for KIDS! Again, it is for the KIDS and it is nice to have these special celebrations designed just for them! I don't know many kids' parties open to the public like the ones they have at the Please Touch Museum. Again, worth the visit for the KIDS (age 7 and under or if your older child still plays with younger kids)! Also, the cafe is FABULOUS for a children's place. They have basic pizza but also have great create-your-own rice/pasta bowls with various vegetables/meat/sauces!

We visited with family so there were 6 adults and 5 kids. The activities were nothing exciting that I hadn't seen at a mall or other play area. The kids had an okay time and enjoyed the activities, but for a family of 4 that included a carousel ride and parking - $82 just seems a lot.

My children (2 and 4) have a BLAST at this museum as it promotes hands-on learning. The facility is rather large, and I have yet to see all it has to offer in one visit. They also alternate certain sections so it never becomes stagnant. You could easily spend a whole day here as they do have decent (albeit, expensive) food options. But I would certainly go with an exit strategy as the exit doors (or tantrum center) are often a trigger for kids to GO OFF because they do NOT want to leave. =)Definitely one of my favorite indoor adventure places. I would recommend going early to beat the crowds and still catch nap time. =)

This is one of the coolest museums. When we got there the lady said to my brother, our friends and I (a 12 year old, two 13 years olds, and two 15 year olds) that we might not have fun because we're older kids. But my friend's mom said we still wanted to go so we paid and went in. Well we ended up having so much fun! It's so interactive (hence the name "Please Touch Museum") and really interesting! There's so much to do and I love learning about the history of Philadelphia. It's fun for all ages and we found ourselves wanting to play with everything like little kids. Awesome place!

This is a great place for children. They can learn & interact with everything there. Tons of fun. Great for younger & older kids & a great way to unleash your inner child as well.

Great place! We went here for a wedding so this review is more about the museum as an event place rather than what the museum itself has to offer. The building is truly gorgeous, and the merry-go-round is truly a nice place for guests to mill around, drinking and noshing on hors d'oeuvres, while waiting for the newlyweds to take the requisite wedding entourage pictures. There is something very sweet about riding your fill of carousel rides and recalling sweet childhood memories knowing that a couple of people you love is about to embark on a lifetime of adventure together.Inside, the hall is very spacious. Unfortunately, the guests were not allowed to check out the museum because what we could see looked truly interesting. It is a beautiful space, though, and the setting made for a memorable evening. If you are getting married, I do not hesitate to recommend you to consider Please Touch Museum as a possible venue.

I do not have children but I do have one nephew. And I want the best for him and this museum did seem to provide for that. There are special hours for members only, and hours for non-groups, all of this are well done by the museum. We went early before regular hours and had the best time. It wasn't too crowded, which it can be, and we had a wonderful time as members. It pays to belong and know the ins-and -outs. It was a great experience for my nephew which he enjoys over and over during the non-busy times. Overall, the museum is spread out and tries to be not overwhelming. We also got %15 off in the gift shop as a member. If your plan on going more than once in a year, or bringing family to enjoy, get the year/ parking membership--it's worth it . About $125 a family per year.
