bertha brock park

When I was a little girl, my family would go picnicking and tobogganning at Bertha Brock Park every year. Last week I was there again and was so pleased to find that it still exists and is even better than I remember!Granted, things have changed. The toboggan runs are no longer there....but the sledding hills remain and are wonderful! In fact, this "old lady" and her equally old friend, took sleds along and made three trips down the hills! The long climb up was arduous, but worth every bit of energy we expended! It was just as much run as it was 50 years ago!Thank you, Ionia County for maintaining this beautiful park!
