blue heron bay splash park

We went to the splash park with our 5 year old and 15 month old--both had an AMAZING time! The toddler area had a canopy over it so I didn't have to worry about the baby getting too hot in the son. My 5 year old was just tall enough to ride down the 2 larger water slides by himself. We were there for 3 hours and could easily have been there longer if the little one wasn't ready for a nap! You are not allowed to being outside food or beverages, however I do believe water is the exception-as we walked right in with water bottles and sippy cups. However, you can leave the park, get a stamp, and then eat lunch on a the grassy part right near the entrance which is what we did. We will definitely be going back to this hidden jem soon!!!!
