we have been driving by for over 30 years and finally stopped the grounds are large and stonework beautifully maintained it has been there since the 30s built by the Polish A beautiful tribute .

These grottoes have been built by hand over a 23 year period, by one Franciscan Brother. He placed each stone, some with donated jewelry to complete a wonderful and peaceful grotto dedicated to Our Lady of Czestochowa (the Black Madonna). Just wondering around this area gives a peace and also a wonderful place to contemplate and pray. It is a free site, but since they receive no support, a donation or purchasing a few gift shop items is a nice way to say "thank you" for this lovely spot.
