We like the small town atmosphere with very friendly people! Not sure there was anything we disliked?

We liked the shops. The winery was great. We loved the history of the town. The General Store was a neat place eat at. The food was good and they offer a live band on Friday and Saturday night.

Very cute little town. There is a historic, albeit small, historic area with cute antique shops. The Katy Trail is beautiful and so well preserved.

The scenery is amazing! You can rent bikes at a local cycle shop right off the trail so you don't have to haul your own and if you go to Rocheport you have to try Abagail's Restaurant.

Rocheport is a beautiful community! We stayed two nights in the area and enjoyed the quiet and outdoor recreation opportunities.

We hiked both East and West on the Katy Trail. Great fun! Good for both bikers and hikers. Off the trail is covered with Poison Ivy. Beware!

The Trailside Cafe and Bike Rental is the only game in town and they know it! Talked with them day prior to plan for bike rental at 9am. Arrived at 9:15 to see people sitting in cars. Owner working the grill and no bikes out. After waiting until 9:45 one group asked politely when bike rentals would be available. The owner literally yelled at them and said he would not talk to anyone until he put all the bikes out. The owner returned to the grill and made no move toward opening the bike shop. At 10am we said enough is enough, called another bike rental shop in town and left. We saw several other groups leave as well. Posted bike rental hours say open at 9am, website says bike rentals open at 8am. This is the first bad review I have written but it is well deserved. Rent your bikes elsewhere and drive to trailhead.

Great stop when biking the Katy Trail. Abigail's restaurant was awesome. The view from the Les Bourgeois winery was terrific and the food was great. The School House B&B is a gem.

Rocheport is a wonderful place to visit. Unlike many tourist oriented towns, Rocheport is authentic through and through. The buildings are authentic and charming, giving the visitors the feeling that they are in a real place. There are even subtle signs of the floods that have challenged the town over the generations. The surroundings are authentic--the former MKT railroad line which is now the Katy Trail, the railway tunnel on the edge of town, the sweeping bend in the Missouri River, the towering oaks and sycamore trees, and the nearby caves in the river bluffs. Rocheport is a place where visitors of all ages can spend a few hours strolling along the quite streets and visiting the antique shops and art galleries, or a few days relaxing in one of the beds & breakfasts.

This is a great place to unwind. I absolutely loved the School House B&B. The room was amazing and breakfast was filling and delicious. Dinner at Les Bougeouis Winery was fabulous and the views of the Missouri River at sunset are incomparable. Lunch at Abigail's was very good with lots of unusual flavors in the hearty fare. The scenery along the Katy Trail was beautiful with everything coming into bloom. The town itself is lazy with most of the antique shops opening around 10, or 11, or whenever the note on the door says they'll be back. If ypour looking for more than antique stors or art galleries you are out of luck though.

The A-Frame overlooking the Missouri River is our favorite. The Bistro is the BEST for fine dining. The shops scattered around town are worth a little walk...plus the beautiful Katy Trail for biking or hiking. Rocheport has it all.

This little town was the highlight of our trip. Great little shops featuring local artists and lots of variety. Everyone was so friendly it was a terrific experience!

What a lovely little gem of a place in the middle of Missouri. We stumbled across this town of 2-hundred-some people several years ago and we love to come back. For such a small town, it is packed with all kinds of delights. First the beautiful Katy Trail. And, when you're walking along it and you come across a wood-fire pizza place, stop! It's delicious and a good alternative when you cannot get reservations at Abigails in the tiny downtown. The food is superb there. Of course, you always have the choice of eating at the Blufftop Bistro at the winery. What a gorgeous place with delicious food. Then the B&B's - there are at least 10 of them! Plus antique stores and other shops. It's a nice little get-away.

Spent the day touring Arrow Rock and Rocheport with friends. Lunch at Abigail's and dinner at the winery. Great way to spend an autumn day.
