Love their vibe, love their clothes, love their mascot, a beautiful Golden Retriever named Salty! Peter Becks is a great shop with some of my favorite brands, and makes you feel like you have stepped back in time to a true New England country store. I don't get back to the East Coast much, but when I do, I make it a point to stop here.

Great for gifts for others and myself! Peter Becks carries some of my favorite brands... Filson, Patagonia, Ibex, Southern Tide, Sail to Sable, Peter Millar,Ray Ban, Mountain Khaki,etc. Everything one needs to be stylishly equipped for hiking, sailing, skiing, fishing or socializing. Owners Peter and Becky are there to be sure you walk away a happy customer!

This is a fantastic place... selection, quality of merchandise. Outdoor wear that is very high end with competitive prices and really appealing styles. Staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. They're also plugged in to the local community. Worth a special trip to Salisbury!!

On weekend trips to the Northwest Corner, a trip to Peter Becks is a must! From practical and outdoorsy to wear-out-to-dinner, they have it...and most importantly, the resident dog, Salty provides a warm welcome!

This store is so comfy and welcoming...you can even relax in front of a fireplace! If you've forgotten anything on your trip to the Berkshires, they have just about anything you'd need depending on the weather.

This is truly a gem in quaint Salisbury, CT and I highly recommend checking it out. They carry anything from waterbottles to Patagonia jackets to Paddle Tennis raquets to Hiking Boots and snowshoes. Excellent selection of tasteful and stylish clothing for adults and kids, plus they will special order anything you need. A must for thruhikers and prepsters alike.

I always dro by Peter Becks when I'm in the area, the owners are super friendly and the place has a great vibe to it no matter what the season. We went on one of there weekend hikes (race falls) and it was great - store has a good selection of stylish outdoor gear and all he basic essentials as well.

Peter Becks is a wonderful place to stop in Salisbury, CT as it offers fantastic brands like Patagonia, Filson, and Smartwool while also being a resource for knowledge about local hiking and other activities. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic. Its a comfortable welcoming environment - much more that just a retail store! Salty the store mascot greets you at the door and from there on in you are engulfed in the Peter Becks experience.
