love to stop here with our little ones the farm animals are a plus, they love the cows goats and chickens. The ice cream is good, its not homemade as your lead to think; not as good as the icecream shoppe but ambience is the attraction here !

A great gem in Shelton. Situated off Bridgeport Avenue on an historic working farm. Nestled away on farm grounds that comes complete with cows, goats and rabbits that you can feed. Great seating as well with an outdoor and under roof arrangement. The are many flavors and soft serve as well. There are even kid sizes which sometimes can be enough for an adult. Just a bit pricey I think, but worth the visit. Oh and every flavor I have had has been delicious. Did I say delicious???

Unless you find a pearl or diamond in the middle of your ice cream, the quality does not justify the $4 per cup you pay for a regular sized (two scoops) dish. I would rather get a pint of Ben & Jerry’s. The place appears to attract families, perhaps because young children would enjoy a restaurant devoted solely to ice cream, the large selection (50+ claimed) and the farm next door.

Very disappointed in the taste of the ice cream and they charge a lot for it. Always a mad house when trying to order. Outdoor seating needs to be cleaned up.

Fresh Ice Cream from a farm with a views and atmosphere. What else is there to say. Lots of tables outside and good parking.

Great variety of flavors including frozen yoghurt. Very rich and creamy - not watered down. Very nice surroundings of pastures to enjoyed while indulging.

Yes yes it is a cute little farm. Honestly didn't do to much walking around, but did see some cows, goats, bunnies. Would be cute to take the kids there some day. What I really went there for was some ice cream. They have a ton of cool flavors. However it is way over priced and the quality of the ice cream itself was not good! The flavors were there, but not the creamy ice cream part lol hard to explain. Totally did not satisfy my craving. I had the cherry armarreto and hubby had the peanut butter brownie. AND it cost 3.75 for ONE scoop of ice cream. What the heck? I ended up buying a quart of bryers for 2.50 at the store and that satisfied my craving. Any who, in comparison to other creameries I would suggest Rich Farms in Oxford, their ice cream is practically like eating butter and it costs less for more scoops! Or Sweet Claude's in Cheshire, they have fun cool flavors and the ice cream is also really good. All of these creameries are cash only so be prepared, no ATM at Wells Hollow. Rich Farms has an ATM.

Discovered Wells Hollow last year--All I can say is WOW! The ice creams are delicious--this is what real ice cream should taste like. An abundance of interesting flavors with my favorite being Banana Pudding--SO GOOD! It's a little expensive, but worth it!
