Spent the afternoon from 11-1 with my 4 year old granddaughter we had a great time, staff was extremely helpful especially Adam. A little expensive but my granddaughter didn't mind.

Took my son yesterday. Website states "20 Snow Tubing runs, 3 different parks, 4 different lifts!" UUmmm..Where? There were only 4 runs open with 1 lift. there appeared to be 2 more tubing runs to the right of the lift we were using but they weren't open. I didn't see any across the street where the skiiers were. Curious to see where the "20 snow tubing runs" actually are located. It's the end of the coldest February on record. There's snow everywhere. If there actually were 20 snow tubing runs, wouldn't they be open?I read a lot of really bad reviews on this place from the last couple of years. Was hesitant about even going but had 2 gift certificates to use.Kid in parking lot was polite and helpful.girl behind the counter was polite but really gave no direction as to what to do after we got signed in and purchased our tickets. there was no one helping with proper fitting of helmuts which are required by anyone under 21 yrs of age. Most of the staff quite polite with the exception of 1 reprimanding a very young child for sitting in a tube while his mom pulled him.The area where you wait in line for the lift was quite disorganized.A lot of tubes were in unusable condition.Overall had a decent time. i think we got 8-10 (each less than 30 seconds) runs done in the 2 hours. Knowing that they don't have as many runs as they advertise, that you can expect to wait a long time between runs on the weekend and you risk finding only damaged tubes to use, i'd say it's not worth the $34 plus $10 helmet rental fee for 2 hrs of sliding. Don't plan on heading back there any time soon

My husband and I did the 1:00 - 3:00 session on a Friday. Aside from a couple of other families, we had the place to ourself. Staff was friendly, venue was clean, plenty of parking. The runs were well maintained and designed for maximum speed!

I took my son snow tubing today, we had a blast!!! What a fun time, the staff was so friendly, helpful & kind. This was our first time there & it was a great experience. We will definitely be returning & actually thinking about having our son's birthday party there. Perfect day & great family fun!

It's not the biggest mountain in the world but we had a blast. The kids loved the tubing. The staff was friendly and kind. The weather was miserable and they had sold out of goggles. One of the staff went into his bag and took out two wrapped and boxed pairs he had purchased for himself and sold those to me for my kids. Above and beyond for the customer. We had a great time and plan to go back this weekend to snowboard.

I bought a private lesson, ski lift and seasonal equipment rental for my grandson for Christmas. The instructor was awesome. The place is small but well maintained. I would not recommend for expert skiers who are looking for a challenge but there were happy skiers, tubers and snowboarders. The food was pretty good but the cafe does look a little worn and could use some updating. There are no lockers. The prices have gone up over the past two years but it is close to home and worth the trip.

We drove 1hr1/2 and it was so worth it the best snow tubing around, forget those other ski areas with straight up and down runs, this place has banks turns and mounds sooooo much fun, also has doubled tubes for younger kids, our kids were 7 to 12 and they had a blast and so did we,the staff is very friendly, whatever they tell you to do listen to them it's for your safety and helmets are required if under 21 that is a good thing it is hard packed snow so if you want a fun day with the family I highly recommend,we will be back

I was really concerned about going here since there were so many negative reviews on other sites. They were wrong! Although it was not cheap for my family of four to go snow tubing, we had a blast. There were 4 hills open. The first two were considered "beginner" hills but they were really fun. The 3rd and 4th hills were a lot faster. My 9 and 11 year old loved them. The line to get up to the top on the magic carpet moved quickly and it was not crowded even though many NY schools are on winter break. We got there at 1:30 and even though the 1 - 3 session already started, they gave us our two hours. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure we knew how to snow tube safely. They constantly asked us how we were doing and even helped us carry our tubes when we got to the top of the magic carpet. There was one staff member who was very energetic and helpful. He looked like he was having a great time too! I never felt in danger, even at the bottom of each hill. There were staff members at the top and bottom with walkies and they communicated on each run. My kids really enjoyed their experience here. After tubing we wanted to see if my son could get a ski lesson. He had never been skiing before. We missed the group lessons earlier in the day and figured we were out of luck. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and gave us a fair price on a private lesson and rental. They were excited that my son wanted to ski and really worked with us to get him on skis. He had a wonderful lesson with Sam, who had him going down the bunny hill practically by himself by the end of the lesson. We enjoyed a snack at the snack bar while my son had his lesson. Overall it was a great day! We had fabulous weather and everything was really nice for a family of beginners. We had never been snow tubing or skiing before and this was the perfect place to try everything for the first time. I would definitely go back!

I believe it is under new, or at least improved management. thee tubing has been expanded and is much safer and better groomed that 2014. the kid ski school programs are expanded as well and we had a great experience with our instructor and my three kids, now 7, 5 and 3. the hill is small, as you would expect in this area but I think a good learning experience before going to the expense of larger family ski trips.

This place is the real deal for snow tubing. Awesome runs that are fast and thrilling. I never felt unsafe or in danger. Staff is well connected as well. Only drawback is the $34 price tag for 2 hours of tubing.

My son and I took a day trip from Greenwich today for some snow tubing. I have to say this was the best time we have had together in years. Staff was very nice, they were concerned with safety, and they were making sure we had a great time. I'm going back as soon as my body heals as I'm a bit out of shapeMike U

This was our third time skiing at Woodbury Ski Mountain this season, and I can unequivocally say it has been an outstanding experience each and every time. From the moment you arrive every single person who works there will greet you with a smile and strike up a conversation...talk about incredible customer service, something we often just don't see anymore! The ski instructors are phenomenal and great with kiddos who are just learning how to ski for the first time. We had Stephanie and Tim and they were both beyond patient with my four year old! Great skills were imparted and my little one cannot wait to go back again! Today was the first time that we also tried tubing (after skiing). What a great way to add more fun to our day, as if that was even possible! Gino and Adam were incredibly helpful at the tubing park. They went above and beyond to ensure our utmost comfort and fun! I highly recommend Woodberry ski mountain to anyone looking for an incredible day out with the family. See you on the slopes!

My wife and I had been curious to try snow tubing for a while and are so happy we finally did it! The entire staff of Woodbury, especially Adam, was very friendly, polite and helpful. They really seemed to care that visitors were having a good time and enjoying themselves. The snow tubing trails were not very crowded, even though it was a Saturday, and we were able to take so many rides down the different trails being offered. We had a wonderful time at Woodbury and are already looking forward to our next snow tubing trip!

We took 4 teenage girls there to go snow tubing which wind up being closed due to severe weather conditions. It's something you always have to call about ahead of time, but unfortunately I didn't. I called and spoke to them explaining we drove almost 3 hours to get there. The staff allowed them to go skiing all day (11-5) including a 1 hour session with a professional instructor for the same price ($75 + $10 helmet rental). They had the best time ever! The staff was extremely helpful, patient through and through and just an overall pleasure to deal with. The kitchen was officially closed, but they made sure we got what we needed anyway. $75 for 6 hours - not bad! The girls already are talking about going back :)

I heard about Woodbury through some friends that went up recently - they told me that this would be perfect for the kids and they were absolutely right.I brought my two kids up for a day of Tubing down the slopes. The staff was super friendly and helpful, from the guy who helped us park, the people who helped my kids with their rentals, to the guys who managed the lift for the Tubes. My son got a bit spooked his first time down because it was a bit fast for him, and Adam, who was one of the guys working the conveyor belt, helped me get him situated in a better tube and had him go down the mountain using a different technique - my son got hooked since that and both kids have been asking me to go back. I also enjoyed having a spot to grab Hot cocoa and food with the kids - it was really a great day with them - thanks to everyone at Woodbury for making it great.
