winding road cellars

This winery is relatively new place. We had a great time. Service was good. Ambience was good. Wines were good. I see good things for the future of this winery.

Had just completed a tasting at Phillip Carter Winery and noticed a small winery practically next door called Winding Road Cellars. New tasting room building, nice view of a large pond and the wines were quite good. The couple that owns the vineyard and winery do it all without outside help. They have been in business only a couple of years, but are doing things right. We will be back.

Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Delicious wine and a peaceful setting to relax and enjoy the day! They let us bring our dog which was a huge plus!

Friendly staff, nice tasting room, good wine and close to other attractions (wineries). I enjoyed my visit. When I was there I had some heavy handed pours, not complaining. I am not sure if that is the norm or just happened. When I visited it was 6 wines for $5, two whites, 3 reds and a semi sweet red.This place is definitely worth the stop.

Nice place - wine was average Virginia wine - is there any GOOD wine here? Pretty place and worth the stop - owner was friendly. Kinda chintzy on the tasting for the cost. Good information from the owner about grapes and the business. Right next to Phillip Carter and several other places around as well.
