The one wine be bought was from a different winery they happened to be pouring. We tasted 3 wines. We sat in a small sitting room after our tasting and drank a glass of wine. It doesn't look like a winery from outside. No paper towels in the bathroom.

NOW NAMED WISDOM OAK WINERY. We were a little hesitant to taste wine in what looked like someone's house after winding down the littlest country road (possibly ever). However, once you walk it, the tasting room is something out of Sonoma. It is very well furnished and decorated. We were able to taste five wines for $10. All of the wines were pretty decent, with the Petit Verdot taking the cake. I really wished we could have tried the Cuvee Neubia, but they were sold out. The tasting featured several different crackers to cleanse your palate and even a Cabernet Chocolate Sauce to complement the red wines. Our attendant was great and very knowledgeable. Overall, great experience.

This winery is off the beaten path, but the wines are very very good and the atmosphere is very personal. Our group of three gals really enjoyed our tasting on a Sunday afternoon. Their cabernet chocolate sauce was also fabulous.

the drive is pretty and the sugar leaf maple is always gorgeous. The wine is better thanaverage but the pours for the tastings are barely a full swallow. They have the smallest pours of any vineyard we have been too. It isn't a fancy venue but it is fun on a sunny afternoon to make the drive there and get a bottle of wine after tasting.

I recently bought a deal for Sugarleaf through Travel Zoo. As a part of the deal, the winery advertised that we could take home two bottles of wine(up to $20 each). When we showed up, they limited our choices down to their two cheapest bottles of white wine, both were well below the $20 priceline. There was a $20 bottle of white wine(viognier) that I did like but they refused to let us take 2 bottles of that home. When I brought up the fact about the terms of the deal and how it was false advertisement to write that we could pick our wine and then force two poor tasting wines on us, the lady just made a comment about how that was what the winery owner wanted. They made no attempt to resolve the issue but said that they would welcome our review, well here it is. I even attempted to bargain with them and give up our "$40 wine credit" for one bottle of red wine at $25, still no buge. I believe if a merchant is going to offer a deal on Travel Zoo, Groupon or even the worest company aka Living Social, they should honor that committment in said deal. Also beware that their tasting room is over run by hundreds of stink bugs and the cellar where bathroom is located is infested with tons of fruit flies. I have been to a lot of wineries and never seen such an infestation. Kind of makes you wonder what goes into the wine, maybe more protein????
