Local bands play live music; you have to buy your drinks here, but you can bring food. They serve chips and salsa and have cold plates to purchase (like cheese and meats). Sangria is yummy! EXCELLENT patio and outdoor seating or bring a blanket. Family friendly.
We will go there sometimes with friends when they have a band playing. They have wine by the glass or bottle. There has been a food truck there a few times with great burgers.
Took a road trip to this little winery in Burleson this past Saturday. We belong to a wine club that features this wineries goods so we went for a tasting. The tasting is really small and it was wine club pick up time so it was a little chaotic. We did a tasting but it became a really long process die to the amount of customers and the limited staff to serve them. In spite of this we still enjoyed our visit. After the tasting we purchased a glass of wine and adjourned to their large covered patio to enjoy music from a very talented young lady. All in all, a nice little spot, perhaps they could enlarge their tasting area and have more people to help guests
Do you enjoy good wine? Do you enjoy your friends? Then don't miss sitting outdoors under the trees or on the porch, strolling along the vineyard path and across the pond. Bring your own food or they offer a cheese platter. See website for special events.
I just attended a beautiful wedding at Lost Oak tonight. The weather was perfect, the setting was beautiful, the servers were very attentive, the food was delicious and the wine was abundant. It couldn't have been more perfect!
good place great people. You must visit. The wine is wonderful and resonably priced. The bands that play are very entertaining.
While visiting Burleson, I decided to check this place out on my birthday. It was an amazing experience, and I'll be visiting this place again soon. We couldn't stay for Thursday Sangria due to previous arranged dinner plans. We arrived around 12:30 pm, enjoyed some wine tasting ($5 or free with bottle purchase) and got ready for our hike (2.2 miles) through the winery. We picked our wine (got another 8 bottle to take home, happy bitrhday to me!!!) and they set up a picnic backpack with different cheeses, crackers, salami, grapes and bottles of water . Besides typical August heat, we enjoyed our walk. There are a lot of big trees, so it was plenty of shade. After around walking for over 1 mile, we stopped in one of three picnic area to enjoy some cheese and wine. It took us a little over 2 hours to finish our hike. I wish we had time to stay and enjoy their famous sangria. Beautiful place, excellent wine and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Best of all they are kid friendly!!!
The grounds are beautiful and the wines are exceptional. We were happy to learn we had this hidden gem so close to our home. We will be repeat customers!!!
Very shady grounds well maintained with great wine. Often live music, and check their calendar for other live music and shows. Great wine produced on site, tour the vineyards. Great way to spend an afternoon in the shade and quiet of a local winery.
My son was recently married at Lost Oak Winery. Absolutely gorgeous location! Everyone we came in contact with was kind, gracious and more than willing to help out with anything we needed. If you're looking for a wedding venue - look no further! The whole atmosphere is serene and peaceful. The wines & sangria are excellent. We personally enjoyed the Texas Trio. Can't wait for a chance to come back and share a bottle out on the patio under trees & just relax! We only wish we lived a little closer. If you're near Burleson put this stop at the top of your list.
Our bike group meets here every thurs night at 6pm to ride the 2.1 mile trail and then hang out on the patio afterwards. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Thurs is sangria night so that is typically what everyone enjoys. Great little get away.
I am not a wine connoisseur but it was very pleasant to attend a couple of events this fall, and have a glass of wine. The location has heavy tree cover and is landscaped, with open air seating on the lawn and deck, a covered patio and winding walking paths. There is a schedule of local events and musical affairs, very good band music. It is definitely a laid back way to enjoy some time off, compared to a smoky indoors beer joint.Dogs are allowed!Other acquaintances are members and purchase a couple of bottles a month. Occasional event fees may apply.
Winery has a laid back, fun vibe with monthly free outside concerts where you can bring your own lunch and drinks in an ice chest, lawn chairs, blankets, and even kids. My boys enjoyed playing football back behind everyone. They have their wine ( actually pretty reasonable in price, good selection, and many awards) as well as cheese and snack trays available. The winery has a website with event postings; but service on regular days is also good. They have many prevlidges for members including discounts, wine tastings, and additional parties (free to be a member) I've also attended a summer wedding here- winery provided a beautiful backdrop and the couple was quite happy with the venue and assistance given during the wedding. Location is only about. 3 miles from town; however you feel like you are in the middle of the country. Asphalt Parking lot is small, but parking aloud on a front grassy area as well. The winery is easy to miss from Burleson due to bridge- be ready to turn right as soon as the bridge ends.
Great venue to sit back and enjoy a good glass. Staff is great the wine good and the grounds beautiful. They have great events with good bands. Worth the trip
We purchased a Groupon back in early 2013 for a tour for four with a tasting and cheeseboard included. We didn't get around to going until well after it expired (November 2013), but the staff at Lost Oak was excellent at working with us to make sure we got the full dollar value of our Groupon. My husband and I arrived at the winery around 2.00 in the afternoon and while we had scheduled a tour at 2.00, we were informed the tour was not until 3.00 and we would be tagging along with a bachelorette party, something we were not a fan of. We weren't sure where this experience was going, but the employees at Lost Oak worked with us to make sure we got what we had a great experience. We decided against the tour, but had a fantastic tasting and cheeseboard that we got with our Groupon value and they even gave us an extra tasting (6 tastings of wine, instead of 5), as well as a cheseboard to take home with us. We ended up purchasing 3 excellent bottles of wine and we highly recommend this winery for its excellent service and fantastic wine!
