Faith helped us spend an amazing morning feeding cows, chickens, ducks and a donkey. We played with the farm cats Ziggy and Oscar, and both of my Brooklyn children collected eggs that we scrambled for lunch. We even milked a cow! This family-friendly farm could not have been more welcoming or informative. We loved it!

Very friendly owners who love their animals. We are retired and enjoyed a couple hours feeding all the animals. Spent about 30 minutes just sitting by the young cows in their large pen. They came up to stare at us and so we sat down and watched them well--- be cows. They finally got board with us and moved on. We purchased some of their eggs that Faith had just gathered as we drove up along with cheese and honey brought in from other farms. A must do for all ages.

We are a young couple with no kiddos. We saw that you could milk a cow here and thought let's do it. We were the only people at the Jersey Barnyard for the tour that evening and it was super fun! The tour guide was very informative. We milked a cow and saw lots of different animals. We fed a baby cow too. Overall I would say come enjoy the farm life, with or without kids.

We are in our early 30's and had a great time. So many animals to pet. Fresh eggs and milk too. Great experience, will be back again. The people running it were Head on over to the Rohan Meadery around the corner

We love taking our children to the Jersey Barnyard. It is a real working dairy farm with a variety of animals to see and feed. We fed the chickens, many of them were free range and would walk right up and eat from your hands. They also have goats, sheep, pigs, a turkey, and of course cows!! We bottle fed the babies. The tour of the actual dairy farm is very informative and a great learning experience for kids. Just get there early on a hot day...it gets hot and dusty. We like doing that tour in the spring during milder weather. They also sell farm fresh eggs, milk, and cheese.

My wife and I took our granddaughter to the Jersey Barnyard last weekend and we all had a great time. The grounds are exceptionally clean and the animals seem to be content and happy and very well taken care of. Our granddaughter was thrilled to be able to feed the calves, goats and chickens. A good relaxing few hours can be spent here.

Good place to take kids to see real farm animals. Kids can bottle feed the calves, meet the chickens, ducks, pigs, cat, goats take a hay ride....

We visited the Jersey Barnyard on Saturday afternoon, April 19. Early in the day, they sponsored an Easter egg hunt, which we missed. So, the crowd was lighter for the 4 PM tour we signed-up for. Our daughters, aged 4, 9 and 11 enjoyed feeding the chickens, calves and goats. For the calves, we recommend that that your child be comfortable around the animal as our 4 year old dropped the bottle. Also, the calves will go through the bottle in less than a minute and sharing one bottle between the three girls didn't go over well, so perhaps one bottle per child per calf is a better idea. We also did the tour to the dairy part of the farm and we all milked a cow and got to see the milking production. If you've never milked a cow before, this was a worthwhile part of the experience. Otherwise, I'd pass. These city girls enjoyed their time. We'd do it again!

Delighted we chose to break a road trip and stop off there with our little one (20 months) - we all enjoyed every moment. Set in peaceful scenic country, and run by very friendly folks. We took the optional guided tour, which was great fun, and well worth it. The lady owner chatted to us throughout about the different animals (so many different types of chickens!), and helped our daughter get to pet all of them. Milking the cow was something I never thought I'd do. There is a well kept farm shop there selling some of their produce - we had to take some of the multi-coloured eggs from the hens we'd met with us. Will definitely return.

My children ages 5 and 6 thoroughly enjoyed seeing, touching and feeding the cows, small horses, ducks, chickens, rabbits and goats. Both were the first in line to milk the cow and ride on the hay wagon. Alas, their dreams were crushed to see that pigs aren't really bright pink, cute and cuddly, but such is life. The farm's owners are extremely friendly and kind, and explained how the dairy farm had been in their family for several generations. A big thanks to them for a fun time, and also for helping me learn directions to see the Blue Bell Ice Creamery, which is 30 minutes away.

We stopped at the Jersey Barnyard on our way from DFW to Port Aransas. It's a real working dairy farm that provides tours and the experience to milk a cow. It's a great education for children. There were lots of bonus animals to see and pet too...mini horses, pigs, goats, chickens, bunnies, a donkey, etc. Glad we stopped.

The Jersey Barnyard is a (hard) working farm and gives a good interaction with its daily operations. The folks there are the best. I visit them once a week to get fresh, unpolluted milk and yard eggs (my family is far healthier). The hay rides and animal feedings for kids are things every child should be exposed to. There is also a gift shop and they'll be happy to dip you up a Blue Bell ice cream cone.
