terrace cemetery

Originally built in 1908 and rebuilt after an accident years later, the gateway to the Terrace Cemetery in Post is made from large round stones found on area ranches. The cemetery is the final resting place of many early pioneers to the area and contains many ancestors of current residents. The round stones were also used in some of the grave markers. An interesting stop for the unique gateway and to learn more about the early residents of Post.
