Grandchildren loved "running" with the longhorn cattle and cowboys. Enjoyed the history of the bridge.

The park is an excellent place for baseball! The STORM Select Baseball Team played there this weekend. Plenty of parking, although there was a soccer contest going on at the same time. Only problem is the rest rooms are so far away from the parking lot in the event someone remains in the car for quite some time. Otherwise, no complaints.

Love the updates! New walking path wonderful. The walkway takes you through the trees with benches to sit on along the path. Great view of the River. Clean bathrooms. Nice place for an event.

This park is wonderful. It offers an excellent view of the Brazos. Parks & Rec recently finished a trail that goes through the trees -- the path is paved, so it is good for biking, running, & walking. There is also a disc golf course and a whole slew of horseshoe pits. I see many people using the boat ramp to access the river; the park borders the junction of the Brazos and the Bosque Rivers. There are also a few pavilions and a small stage. I have heard of people renting the park out for events and weddings, etc.I highly recommend this lovely park.
