I have seen several live shows from local event such as dirty dancing...I always try to get tickets to go with my wife.

I attended and performed at a "Beer and Entertainment" event where local entertainment and area breweries showcased their products and services. The park is well designed and is easy to walk around. The main stage is only accessible by a curvy dirt road, and was a little tricky to get in , load in and out, and exit.

Each summer talented local and professional actors are selected to present one of theaters greatest dramas or musicals to be performed against the beautiful natural sandstone backdrop. Performers typically have some relationship with Farmington and San Juan County. Seating is first come first served but there are no bad seats. Typically local vendors provide food, beer and wine. The night we were there, Three Rivers Brewery provided craft beer and burgers, two local wineries provided several local wines and there was a typical concession stand providing water, soft drinks, etc. However, the major draw in our view is talented live entertainment in an outdoor venue unlike many or maybe any in the US. You will not be disappointed. Great for families including toddlers. The seating is rock benches but they rent stadium seats with back support. Can’t wait to go again.

Every summer, an energetic group of professional (paid) performers and staff put on some great theater productions here at a reasonable price. You can come just for the show, or buy a package with barbecue dinner (Fridays), or hamburgers and hot dogs (Thurs. and Sat.) served out of a food truck. Seating is on hard picnic table benches and bleacher-type theater seats, so bring a cushion or stadium seat with you. You can't beat the setting though, performed at dusk and continuing into darkness, against the backdrop of the natural rock cliffs in the area. Acting, singing, and dancing were all top notch for the performance of "Footloose" that we saw. Friday and Saturday nights, beer and wine are available for purchase. Insect repellent distributed for free, or bring your own.
