This Mall have a selection of a higher brands and that means more expensive. This location provides good selection of very good restaurants, The OCeanaire is not as good as you might think. I prefer the Cheesecake or Smashburger and even Rosa are pretty good.
Riverside Mall is somewhat upscale and has a good variety of restaurants. When I meet friends who live in NJ we often wind up here eating at Houston's. In the old days Bloomingdales was the main store, now there are a myriad of stores to choose from. I like to park underneath, less hassle.
Okay, Riverside is like the Plaza's older sister. The kids go to the plaza, but the grown-ups go to Riverside. You can get your favorite fragrance, grab a bite to eat, and then get your shop on with the girls. It's so close to everything... you can make your reservation and then shop to work off the calories you are about to indulge in. A trip to Riverside is a win-win!
I was very impressed with the phone charging stations with comfortable seating in the hallways of each wing of the mall. Quaint mall with a great selection of dining to include the Cheesecake Factory,Smash Burger, McCormick & Schmick's, & more. Upscale retail stores and environment so it is not a very busy shopping center. The Barnes and Noble is massive and a great place to grab a cup of coffee at Starbucks, find a chair and get lost in a book. By far my favorite place here. Disappointed there was no movie theater as it was raining this day and would have loved to have caught a movie while waiting to meet up with friends.
Bloomingdales is the better anchor store....Saks is far better in NYC. Specialty shops are high end but you can find some unusual things. Dining options are chains but decent selection. Watch for sales and you can do well at this upscale mall.
They are trying too hard to be the Short Hills Mall of Bergen County and are failing miserably. The mall is 2/3 empty and keeps shrinking. Saks looks like it is ready to pull out and watch the tops of your cars when it rains at the mall. If it leaves a streak at the top like acid eating away at the paint, it probably is. Avoid parking under the cement ceiling pillars.
High end shops, great anchor stores - Bloomingdales, Saks, Barnes & Noble, Pottery Barn and so many high end stores - Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Barney's, Tiffany, and more. Very clean.
Enjoy shopping at Riverside. Less crowded; yet a good variety of stores to shop and dine. Parking is never a problem; you can go to the covered garage or park in the outdoor lot.
Bloomingdales, Saks fifth Avenue, Tiffany, Mortons Steakhouse,McCormick & Shmicks seafood, Mangiannos Italian, Cheesecake Factory, And alot more, What more can i say!!!
I prefer the Westchester or shopping in Manhattan to this location. But if you don't want to drive far, this place has great stores and plenty of parking.
If you are a fan of high end shopping than you will be happy at the Shops at Riverside. Bloomingdales and other high end stores is what this mall is all about. Not open on Sunday because it is in Bergen County.
I find the shops at Riverside cater mostly to the NY City crowd with prices to match. Great if you want the higher end stores and have the money to buy there.
This is a great mall with some top of the line shops, a huge Bloomingdale's and a Saks Fifth Avenue. There are many food choices including some newer ones in an adjacent wing with additional parking. We always try to visit Rosa Mexicano, good food and service. There is a small park overlooking the bend in the Hackensack River which is very pretty.
Bloomingdale's outlet was great! Also scored a $150 pair of boots at Nordstrom Rack for $9.00!! Very close to the hotel, too.
A lovely place to shop if you love to window shop or have lots of disposable income. It's a quiet mall with many upscale shops and restaurants.
