Pretty big park with lots of trails to walk, jog, bike ride, etc. baseball, soccer and volleyball courts as well. Also a decent size dog park. Well maintained too.

Super large park with paved walkways, tennis courts, bocce courts, dog parks, picnic facilities and lakes.

We find ourselves in Vet's Park time and time again. Great paths for walking or biking. There are MANY event including wonderful music and fireworks for Independence Day. Don't miss the fun of Septemberfest too! There is a dog park with separate areas for big and little dogs, tennis courts, and space for just about everything you would want to do!

Overall the park has been pleasing guests of all types for many years. It's a great place to walk, run or play a sport. It is maintained very well. The kids areas are very nice. I just wish that they would pave a trail around the lake so you could do a loop!!! The raised wooden walk needs some work but has been a hit for years. Bring back the ice skating on the lake in winter.

Beautiful setting. Lots of places to play and explore. We had as much fun as our 5 year old. Close to home and huge.

Since I live across the street from the park, I'm there almost every day. 32 tennis courts, never need to wait for a court, walking trails, dog park, skateboard park, soccer, ball parks, I could go on and on.

This sprawling park has features for everyone, nature trails through beautiful woods, open field for a friendly catch or frizbee toss, a lake for fishing or bird watching, soccer& baseball fields and a playground for the younger set. In addition there is a Civil War & Native American museum and several war memorial sites. It's quiet and you feel like your miles from civilization when your only just a few steps away.

I've been to this park many times - it's great. It has a great paved walking/biking path, a large playground, a lake and lots of sports fields, including a skate park area, and there's also a fitness path. I would recommend this to anyone who lives in the area. Hamilton Township also uses the park for festivals and stuff throughout the year, such as the 4th of July fireworks display and the annual town festival, typically in September. Go and bring the family!

Awesome park, wonderful paved paths, some wooded trails with boardwalk, great playground and very well maintained. Lived n the area for a period of time and as I travel back on occasion it only gets better!

Veterans Park is large with many attractions - jogging/walking/biking paths, tennis courts, ball fields, dog park divided for large and small dogs, skateboard area, chlldren's playground, and many other things. It is also the site of festivals and community events. Almost everyone could find something to see or do at Veterans' Park.

Very well maintained. Has Tennis Courts, Ball Fields, Volleyball, Hockey, Jogging and Festivals. A lot of fun close to home

I had gone to veterans park as a kid but I haven't been there in years. Today I went jogging there and explored the park and it is just awesome. Great jogging and exercise stations.

The tennis courts need some updating but the rest of the park is well maintained. Soccer, baseball/ softball, walking, etc the park has something for everyone. There is even a dog park for both large and small dogs.

This truly is an ideal spot for families, walkers/joggers, anyone really & I have never seen such a great playground. We attended a family picnic here & the facilties are exceptional - clean, well laid out, tranquil. Even on a busy Sunday afternoon with the park filled with picnickers and others enjoying the weather, it was completely enjoyable & the crowds were friendly. More on the playground - in my opinion, it rivals an amusement park, that's how much fun the kids had & yet it was completely free! I only wish we lived closer than an hour away as we would be here often.

This is a BEAUTIFUL, well thought out, has everything park....but goodness I have NEVER encountered so many mosquitoes....These buggers were in swarms everywhere..and bit, EVERYWHERE....even through our jeans!Other then the mosquitoes, There are miles of trails that take you past water, through tress...you have the chance to see frogs, bunnies, squirrels, ducks, geese, herons...There are statues, fountains, gardens, a HUEY COBRA, a M60 PATTON, and a F4 PHANTOM...there is also a field artillery piece, a 9-11 memorial, an anchor from a navy ship,....plus there is one of the largest, has everything playground ....with what seems to be a permanent ice cream truck conveniently parked to entice the kiddies. :)There are water fountains throughout....and there is also an old historic farm and a couple museums in another quadrant with a bunch of sport fields and courts but, we never made it to that part so, I have no first hand info on them...This is a GREAT place to spend many hours....there are also pavilions, grills, a couple gazebos, a lake....Seriously, This place has it all just...Dont...Forget...the Bug Spray!
