The friendly and helpful crew will make for a splendid day out, or family outing. Sailing out of Keyport is convenient with plenty of parking and a great boardwalk. We had gone on the 4th of July cruise last year,(this year's was refunded due to hurricane advisories). and had a wonderful time. There are areas in cabin or outside to sit and enjoy the trip and there really is nothing like being on the water to view the firework lit skies. Highly recommend for either a day trip or a new way to enjoy the 4th.

I've been fishing for many,many years now but the grunt of my fishing was Fresh Water and mostly in Florida for Large Mouth & Peacock Bass. My fishing buddy in Florida passed away and now I don't go to Florida any more. But as, fishermen know, it's hard to stop the fishing bug. So I decided to turn Fresh Water to Salt and give New Jersey Salt waters a try. I've fished several "Party Boats" from Perth Amboy to the Highlands. The best I found is Capt. John's out of Keyport. WHY???? You always don't catch fish !!! But you have a good time fishing. The boat is always clean. The "Heads" or Rest Rooms are also clean and don't smell like fish or bait. The Capt always has a story about fishing or the tale of tales. ( There is no lie detector on board ) The mates are always there to help you. From the beginner fisherman or fisherwoman to the seasoned veteran they are there to untangle,,give you bait ..net your fish.. or give you advice about fishing or why to root for the Dallas Cowboys. And yes you can and do catch some fish. And the mates clean them if there legal and give you a bag with your fresh fish catch of the day.
