Not really my thing but I have been here a few times as a child and teen and if this is your thing then you will be happy. The funny cars are quite entertaining.

Love this place!!! I have been enjoying NED since I was a wee kid. My dad used to race his dragster here on the weekends. Now I bring my family and we watch others race. Love the smell of burning rubber! Love the easy convenient location. Staff is always friendly. Will come back again for sure!!!

I went to the Dragway to see the Jet Cars Under the Stars event. It is truly an amazing event. Great place to see the races in general!!The food and vendors are reasonably priced and the place is overall well maintained and clean.

This dragway is easy to get to and is a really great place to enjoy watching the events they have there. This year they had the Nationals and it was extremely full! I have relatives that race there and stay on the grounds and the camping areas are fantastic!! Everyone is so friendly and just happy to be hanging out at the track after hours. The traffic was okay as they had a plan to get people in and out. Still had to plan to hang out for a while though rather than get right out of there. Luckily we could park near the campers to hang out with relatives. The track is great and good views from any seat.

First time attending a NHRA event this year at the second annual New England Nationals. I've grown up around the NASCAR circut and wanted to check out the NHRA. The track was easy to find, almost no traffic getting in. We parked pretty far out, but were pleased to see that there were shuttles provided to the track. We were a little confused after getting through the gate about where our seats were- the tickets did not clearly state this. Found the staff to be very helpful. Enjoyed walking into the pits and checking out the vendors. Had a great view of the finish line. Food wasn't too overpriced. Surprised to find that we really didn't hit much traffic on the way out either. Overall very impressed with the track organization and setup. Plus, it was an AWESOME weekend of racing!

The traffic this year sooo much better than last year. The weather was beautiful. The track was busy and everyone had a great time. If you like watching it on TV and you are in the northeast please go next year it is amazing!! The had snowmobile racers this year.A lady from Canada won at 159 an hour it was a sight to behold. Loved the nitro, burning rubber and rubbing shoulders with Cruzer,Capps& Gaines.Saw many racers including Antron Brown make a young man with down's day when he not only shook hands but gave him a huge hug, priceless!! He was walking on a cloud. Thumbs up NHR guys and gals your the best

I've been going to New England Dragway since the mid-1970's. I go to other tracks like : Englishtown, Maple Grove, Lebanon Valley, Oxford Plains, Budds Creek, Indianapolis Raceway Park, Pomona, Atlanta Dragway, etc...But, NED is my home track. And now with the big NHRA event, it's totally awesome! If you like Funny Cars, Dragsters and Jets, NED has several events through out the racing season for you to see!!

I've been going to NED for 15 years. Wednesdays and Fridays are the street nights where you can bring your own street car and race it down the track. The track on Wednesdays gets slippery very early, they don't try to keep it sticky and it's worse than trying to launch on the street. Fridays are better but not by much. I'd recommend getting there at 5pm and be the 1st one through tech and in line ready to go by 6pm if you want to get any sticky launches.I only go a few times a year now but it's still fun. It beats driving to New York or New Jersey to go racing, I'm glad they are around. I just wish they would prep the track better on street nights...I'd recommend going up on a Saturday if you just want to watch cars race down the track.

Just got back from the amazing races at new England drag way. The crowds were unbelievable, the traffic unbelievable ,the races unbelievable but I wouldn't have change a thing. We have been to several tracks and I think being a new England gal I am so glad they are back in our neck of the woods. Fans and drivers alike had a great time. I got to rub shoulders and shake hands with Ron Capps and "Fat Jack". What other sport lets you mingle and touch your hero's?Can't wait til 14...Thank you NHRA for coming east!!

The Inaugural NHRA New England Nationals. Somewhere along the line, the track forgot about the fans and what it takes to make the event more comfortable as well as put on a good show. NHRA did put on a good show but the track itself only could see dollar signs. As for the parking, you better camp out over night to get into the tracks free parking lots. They only have the most five lots and once they are full, you are directed to an off -site lot and the cash register starts to ring. The fee for off grounds parking and shuttle by school bus is $10. Trying to get the bus back is a nightmare after the event. Lines from the gate all the way to the road. No accommodations for the handicap or elderly people for off site shuttle. We had a cancer patient that came to see the race for maybe his last time and was wiped out for the evening, so standing in a long line to get to the bus was not an option for him.I asked track security if we could get him and his wife on the bus so that they could go back to the off-site lot to wait in the car until we could get there. The answer I got was, we can get him a chair and he can wait until our group in line gets to the bus. Overall time from the end of the event at 9:00 pm to the time we got him home, 5 hours. For the amount of people jammed into that place, there wasn't enough rest rooms and they were poorly placed. From section B19 to general admission, there was four portable rest rooms. There was no concessions for the general admission fans. If you needed food or water you had to walk all the way back to section B16 area to get food. It is not a short walk in a crowd . As for the seating, very poorly planned. Section B22, B15 thru B17 and B19 A thru D should have been higher rows of seats for reserved. The general admission section is way too far down the track and it is not worth the $50 price tag to see the Top Fuel and Funny cars coast past you with the chutes out. Those people missed the race. If you sat out there you should stay home and catch it on ESPN2 next year. I tried seats for all three areas to get a full view of the track setup. The only place I didn't try, was the hill. The motor home section, $$$$ too much for what you see and get.If they get it right, it could be a great place to go but right now it needs work and the tracks staff that can see it from a fans eyes, not from the wallet.

Love going to the races but now that I have kids going to any track where the crowds are more interested in the booze than the cars is a HUGE turnoff. This place is FANTASTIC and FAMILY FRIENDLY!!!

For those of you who are into racing of any kind, try you home track first and then go to a big one. I have never gone to a drag race before. I have always been with Nascar but my first trip to Englishtown was out of this world. So I decided to go to Epping to check out the funny cars under the stars. What a joke. It was like going back in time. An old drag way that is need of help, big help. They had two Nitro funny cars and the rest was Saturday night locals trying to put on a show. To make things worst, they lost the track. The damp cold weather moved in and the track had no grip. The funny cars could not run the track. To finish the show, they made a hole shot run and shut them down right out of the gate. This was not my idea of a class act show. They placed the jet cars at the end to try to make people stay for the end of the show. We left and didn't look back/Bottom line here is, Full Throttle Plans on running there next year. Full Throttle fans beware. The track needs major work to even come close to Englishtown. Lots of money need to be spent to get this place into shape. They need more seats, parking, concession and that's just for the fans. They have a lot to do before June 2013. The question is, will they be ready?
