The mall is poorly designed. It is a long walk from one end to the other and is not really feasible on a cold winter day. Some of the outlet stores are located across the street which is fairly annoying. I have found that the prices at the stores I shop at are worth the annoyance of the design flaws. The lack of a good food court is disappointing.
if u like shopping this is the place for you. tonnes of stores awesome prices. we come all the way from manitoba canada to come here
Returned a pair of ECCO shoes to the ECCO store. They had told me they had a 1 year replacement warranty when i bought them. I had the shoes 4 months and the soles started to come off....the store said they "Do not do " In store replacement. I had to ship the shoes off in a bag (The shipping was paid) to NuShoes and they told me it will take 4-6 weeks for any information on replacement, if the will be replaced.I was not happy
Good Outlet shopping, it has all your usual outlet stores. This outlet is about 60 minutes from Minneapolis airport. If there is a food court here we did not see one. Black Friday deals were plenty I think the best deal were at Uggs and Columbia.
Loved the flying circus toy store. I don't have many that need toys anymore but great, fun toys that you can't find just anywhere. Many great other stores such as Harry & David, American eagle, aeopostile
Went for a shopping trip, some good deals, some not so much even though it was back to school time. No good selection of restaurants, so that was a disappointment.
There is about 100 different brand name outlets in a short little area. I always find something that I can not live with and the prices are lower than the mall. I would def recommend for people shopping for clothes, accessories, or housewares items.
We go to this mall a lot. It has a nice mix of stores, and although not all are truly "outlets", it offers a nice selection and nice prices. A great variety of stores that appeal to outdoor enthusists, chefs, parents, home goods, etc. It is amazingly always busy! There are not a lot of places to eat here, and you have to walk outside between stores (and it is quite a hike if you start at one end and go to the other). Sign up online before you go - they email you lots of coupons and discounts.
I love shopping here! Some things are a ridiculous bargain and others are still a little expensive but there is a vast variety of stores and a great time!
I love my outlet shopping, but this outlet is a bit disappointing. We will come back as it's close to wpg, but don't make a special trip. The deals are ok and the service is fairly good, just not a lot of great stores. And just a note, the bath and body works had things priced higher than they are in Canada...disappointing. If you can get to a different outlet, I strongly suggest it. If not, this one will do, just don't come with high expectations!
The Albertville Premium Outlets is very close to home, so we go there sometimes. Preferably, I'd visit an indoor mall, but that's just me. This mall only had a Subway, TCBY/Mrs. Fields, & Burger King for food, so... you know.
Nice variety of outlet stores. I especially enjoy stopping at the Naturalizer and Famous Footwear stores.
We stop here on our way through Minnesota, usually 2-3 times a year. We have certain stores that we go to...Nike, Gap, Coach, Bass, Old Navy and Ugg. We always score some kind of deal at Nike. We go a pair of men's Nike Pegasus for $37. I always find an arm full of stuff at the Gap. They had an extra 30% off clearance Monday, and when we stopped today it was an extra 40% off. Coach has been unimpressive the past couple of times we've stopped. I find that the handbags made for the outlets are CHEAP. I'm not paying $200 for a plastic looking bag with "COACH" screen printed on it...no way! Old Navy is never really an "outlet", it has the same stuff the regular stores have at the same price. Ugg-I'll just stick to Nordstrom...they're the same price and have a better selection!
I was surprised when I went to the Bath and Body Works expecting to be able to buy shampoo which is usually available only online or at outlets and being told that this store was NOT an outlet. When I expressed surprised, the sales clerk told me that only 30% of the stores in this mall are outlets. Those that are expressively say OUTLET or something similar on their signs. When I asked why it is called an outlet mall, she replied that the name may be changing soon.So to me, it was not worth driving 45 minutes to this mall and having to walk outside from store to store when the weather was below zero (this was an unusually cold weekend for early December even for Minnesota). I would rather go to the mall of America where everything is inside. The Coach store was so busy that they were limiting customers inside the store and making people wait outside!People have said this before but I think it bears repeating that just because the store is in an outlet mall don't expect everything to be marked down. I was looking at a pair of boots at Ugg Australia that were supposedly marked down from $250 to $199. But when I looked them up on my iPhone on the UGG website (not Amazon or Zappo's), they sold for $200 regularly. But at least you can try them on and be guaranteed a good fit. With that said, you can get deals at the outlets. If you sign up on their website to be a VIP member before you go shopping, you can pick up a coupon book at the Info Center for free (usually costs $5.00). This consists of deals such as an extra 10% of purchases of $150 or more at Under Armour, $15 off purchase of $80 or more at Rockport, etc. I wouldn't pay $5.00 for it but for free, why not? Not all stores in the mall are included in the coupon book, e.g. Ugg Australia, The Cosmetics Company Store and Coach.
If you are about the northern suburbs, is worth the stop. If you do not like winter, I recommend you go to the indoor mall of America, where you will pay around 20 to 40% more is my estimate. I found Levi's Jeans for under 20 bucks in the clearance rack. I checked Eddie Bauer and a down parka was around $179. Oshkosh prices where not that much different than when I go to Kohl's with a 30% coupon, except that they had more variety. There are 5 public restrooms ,usually one per mall block.
